CD Japan's current sale gently nudged me into finally starting to pick up the R2s for Okusama wa Mahou Shoujo, among other things. This, of course, ensures that Geneon (or someone) will announce the R1 license very shortly, given my track record, but if that's the case then so be it. :sd:

First-press copies of volume 1 came with a book of sketches, a bonus Kikuko Inoue DVD, and a box that holds 3 discs, so I ask: was there ever a second box to hold the remaining 3 discs in the series, and if so, for which volume was it a first-press extra? If there was, I can't seem to find any information about it across several sites I've checked. Any help would be appreciated.

The 4th volume does have a box, but CDJapan never listed the 4th volume as a First Press related item strangely so I'd be careful before ordering it from there.

I bought the first volume when it came out, but then decided against buying the rest, so I know even when it was solicited that CDJ didnt even list the preorder for vol 4 as having a box

Search for the series on Yahoo Japan Auctions, some of the lsitings feature the 2nd box so you can see what it looks like, but I didn't notice any of them by themselves, just sets of the complete series.

I bought my complete set for ~15,000 Yen off YAJ. The series has a second box, but like above, I don't know what volume it came with since I bought my set completely complete.

It is a fun series and if someone does announce it, I'll probably pick it up for the subs.

Not sure what extras but IIRC Okusama is getting a R3 release. I've been holding off in case of a R1 release. Seen the show already though & love it - has a unique charm of its own.
