That says they're going dual format for Japan, for the US they're mainly going to focus on HD-DVD. It's just a weird business model all told, especially if you look at the number of BD releases vs HD-DVD for Japan, and then see what they're saying about the US. From what I can tell the only titles that are getting a HD-DVD release in Japan are the ones they have the US rights for. So they're probably just porting those encodes directly to the BD release as well. My guess is that if it weren't for their HD-DVD exclusivity in the US those titles would probably not have been released on that format in Japan.
