Which harem anime would you like to get the Higurashi treatment?

Did you ever think that it might be interesting for a difference to see any particular harem anime to be done like Higurashi no Naku Koro ni ? A version where you could see the harem members go into extreme facial contortions and have the harem members try to kill the bland and boring lead character?

Yes, I have. A couple of times. I'd watch it. And love it. Only cause that mildly intellegent, hapless duffus who is stringing all these hotties along, is totally oblivious. Well considering Miyabi and Aoi's connections with a rich powerful family, they could easily come from a powerful yakuza family. I'd love to see them do some nice nail-pounding. I wonder how Tina would be though when she's deranged......

But hmm, maybe Ouran, since it seems to me like the whole cast has secrets & motivations that could be manipulated to push them over the edge. Plus, Haruhi could go badass without changing her character fundamentally, I think. Somebody like Miaka fr. Fushigi Yuugi totally couldn't do it without coming out as a different sort of character. (Maybe that's Fushigi Genbu, I haven't read that one yet.)

It's hard to figure it for the guy-centered harems, 'cause the number of girls/women attracted to a male character is inversely proportional to his badass-factor. :sd:
