Did Kadokawa ever say who their partner will be for DemonBane yet?

I hope whoever does it adds liner notes for all the references in Cthulhu Mythos. Or pop up notes ala AD Vid-notes.

Doh I thought I was in the R1 forum :/ If they could move it, that would be nice.

IIRC, they never even announced that they would definitely release it. It was one of the ones they hoped to release. Also mentioned at the time were Karin and Shuffle!, both licensed by Geneon and FUNi, outside of the Kadokawa deal.

So we don't know.

(Also, I think this is the wrong forum...)

I think so too, a Moderator will swing by and move it. In the meantime, I want to chime in and say I'm eager to learn who would be a partner. I saw a little of this at a Con last year and I was surprised at what I saw. I looked pretty wicked, I would hope a company like Geneon grabs it but for list of companies Kadokawa has not worked with yet I believe MB is one of the few remaining ones...

They haven't worked directly with ADV or with Geneon yet.

A certain you-know-what group did an amazing job with their digital liner notes explaining the sources of all the mythos and cult references. It was very interesting stuff. I don't mean to push forum rules but I bring it up because it'd be a real shame if the official release doesn't make any effort to provide this information as well because it adds a great deal of depth and insight to the show. Demonbane without that liner information comes across as a fairly mediocre show, but knowing the source of the references adds quite a lot of depth to what you're seeing onscreen.
