If you get Dengeki Moeoh for August 2006 you'll get one for about $25 or $30.

I ordered both the primula and the ef mags with no problem. I just picked "international orders" and it took me right through.

About $88 US with shipping, and with individual pillow cases like this going for $75-100 each on some sites, this isn't a bad deal if you can afford it.

The quality is pretty good. I don't think I took a picture of the Primula one from Marugoto Navel 2, but I do have a pictures of Asa (http://images.desturel.com/dengeki/06/hime-1006-15.jpg) and Kaede (http://images.desturel.com/dengeki/06/hime-1006-16.jpg) from the first Marugoto. Also one that came with the 8/2006 copy of Dengeki Moeoh (http://images.desturel.com/dengeki/06/moeoh-0806-03.jpg). They are a bit shiny, but the quality isn't poor at all. (actually that counts as a sheet cover, not pillow cover, but close enough).

Well, my C.D. Kotori big towel came in today so I figured I'd take a picture of it to let those who ordered the reprint know what they're getting. First off, let me say that it's big. Really big (http://usera.imagecave.com/Alethia/100_1045.jpg) (NSWF). I know it's called a big towel but as you can see here Cospa's Nayuki big towel (http://usera.imagecave.com/Alethia/100_1048.jpg) (NSWF) is much smaller than the Kotori one is. The printing was a bit darker than I would have liked. It's very fuzzy and warm, so it would be good to snuggle up to (or use as a blanket considering the size). On the bottom, it states "I'm christmas[sic] present for you. Please undo my ribbon..." I would have phrased it "I'm your Christmas present. Please undo my ribbon..." but they didn't ask me.

In any case, it's a good towel. Pity Nemu wasn't in C.D. too. On the downside, it's far too ... for me to display or use. ^^U

On a side note, I've been spotting an Ef bedsheet set on Yahoo Auctions Japan. Does anyone know where it was originally sold?

I have to admit, that's definitely not bad at all. Not surprised to see the "tsun" normal-Corti, but transformed-Corti is a bit more "dere" than usual. Plus, I'm not sure if it's designed by the official artist or not, but it looks pretty on-model to me. Nice!

Just in case anyone is curious, from what I have found in my local area Bed,Bath & Beyond (in the 'Beyond' section of course) and other such stores, the full body (hugging) pillows that are sold here are just a bit too small length-wise. The cover is 150 cm long/tall and the pillows I have found reach just about 135-140 cm long/tall. I may shop around some more just to see what I can find and of course YMMV.

Just in case anyone is curious, from what I have found in my local area Bed,Bath & Beyond (in the 'Beyond' section of course) and other such stores, the full body (hugging) pillows that are sold here are just a bit too small length-wise. The cover is 150 cm long/tall and the pillows I have found reach just about 135-140 cm long/tall. I may shop around some more just to see what I can find and of course YMMV.

They were originally a mail-in extra with the first press cards from the DVD release. You could only choose one of the three though.

Though I had all the cards from the DVD release, I ended up sending them in late because I had to find someone in Japan to handle it for me. As such I ended up getting mine via Yahoo!Japan Auctions and was able to get the full set.

That said, I haven't seen them much if at all, recently on the auction listings. You may want to keep an eye out though just in case some do show up. FWIW, I use Rinkya as my deputy service of choice.

Rinkya (http://www.rinkya.com/) is pretty easy to use. Their site is in english and sign-up in fairly simple. It looks like you may have already gotten there and figuered it out. :D

Also, they do take PayPal as a form of payment in addition to direct VISA/MC/etc options. So even if you are CC-challenged you should be able to use their service.

Does anyone know if they are also being made into wallscrolls? A quality wallscroll can be had for $20, and I'm sure the print quality would be much better than a towel's.

Pillow covers, on the other hand, should look pretty good as they are made of cloth too; but paying nearly $100 for one is insane even considering they are double-sided.

I finished reading the thread today and noticed TheCapt1701 has pictures of the towels and one pillow cover on his website. Making aside the wrinkles on the towels, the print looks clear and of good quality. However, the Ryomou pillow cover looks sharper, with richer colors.

Since the pillow covers are made of fabric(nylon?) I infer they should look really good, especially if they are thick like bedsheets. They could easily surpass a wallscroll if the cloth is like that! I'm getting excited :)

The towels, on the other hand, are made of cotton which most likely translates into a bumpy surface with lesser detail (although still good on its own.) At least that's what I was able to appreciate by comparing the pictures. I'll have to ask TheCapt for a first-hand impression.

I don't know what the Cospa pillowcase is made off. The Matching World ones are merely stated to be a "smooth knit" material (with a fastener).

The beach towels are really just that, towels. I personally am very happy with them, especially considering the size (it's not like you get some little 'hand' towel here :sd: )

Thanks for taking the time to look at both items. The only thing I forgot to ask was if the pillow covers are made of strong, quality cloth? With this meaning that the colors (whites especially) should have a nice, solid texture instead of a cheap, see-through appearance caused by the cloth being too thin.


The only bummer I have about the pillow cover is that I have yet to find a pillow that will fit correctly with it. The ones I have found are a little too short, not that big a deal but still something worth noting.

Actually, I was thinking about filling the cover with a block of styrofoam and turn into a poster. I figure it would look great since styrofoam reflects light, accentuating the picture.

Anyway, I'm now convinced the towels look fantastic. I'm ordering the pillow cover with gothic Ryomou on it and the Kanu Unchou towel, as those have the art I liked best.

Here's hoping Hakufu and Ryofu will make it into one of these neat collectibles in the near future, although I personally prefer J.C. Staff's design for Hakufu.

I haven't watched Dragon Destiny yet, but the rest of the characters look the same from the pictures I've seen. Why did Hakufu have to change?

Anyone here got care & cleaning tips for these dakimakura. Specifically how do you clean them as to have the least impact on the printed image? I have four atm (& matching World Kanu Uncho should be coming soon) & some of the whites aren't as white anymore, but I don't want to do anything that would significantly degrade the art on them. O.O

I'm not sure this is the best way, but I just turn them inside out and wash them in cold water. I haven't noticed any colors fading yet, but I also don't use most of mine very often (all but two are in a closet). Thus, I rarely wash them.

But, yeah I guess I could try Rinkya...though their search engine isn't the best, but it is however, understandable seeing as how it searches rough translations from ENG-JPN.

If you're willing to take the risk of not pre-ordering and instead bidding for one on auction, then I'd suggest waiting a while after they start to come out on auction websites. At the start the price may be relatively high (though likely less than US$100). But after some weeks, perhaps you might be able to get one for about US$60 or less. Then again, if it turns out to be a popular pillowcase, perhaps the price will never get much below US$80 or so. Note that all the amounts I've estimated include deputy fees and shipping to the deputy in Japan but DO NOT INCLUDE shippping to you.

Just bear in mind that (i) what I've written is just a general guide and it's best that you monitor the auction sites to get a feel for how popular the particular pillowcase is, and (ii) I don't monitor overtly ecchi pillowcases (like this one is) myself - my experience is more with non-ecchi pillowcases.

For fellow Stick Poster collectors (and I certainly hope there *are* some on this board that may be able to provide some help), anyone may know where to get Refills for a Stick Poster Binder? Apparently Leaf/AQUAPLUS had Refills up for order (https://ap.suguten.jp/shop/leaf/detail.php?id=00000000000126&p=1) however they're sold out and all the shops (including Amazon.jp & Co.) that had them in stock are sold out on these Refills as well (of course supplied via AQUAPLUS doesn't help here >_<).
Of course I could just get myself a new Binder ordered but I'd prefer to...well stick with the one I already have instead ^_~ (I mean 10 to 20 such files are quickly "filled up" with Stick posters and not intending to purchase a new binder everytime I reach the limit of a binder an alternative source to purchase Refills would be decent).

It seems there's finally a solution coming up for fellow Stick Poster collectors facing a similar shortage of space (Refills) with their Binder (rather then drop money on a new one) ^_~
AQUAPLUS is apparently now taking pre-orders again for Stick Poster Binder Refills (same aforemtioned link to their shop site (https://ap.suguten.jp/shop/leaf/detail.php?id=00000000000126&p=1)). While at that price (1,995 Yen for 10 Refills O_o) one could go for a new Binder worth the costs of two Refill packages I'm so not gonna miss out to get a few of them pre-ordered ^_^

Actually, it's Otome/Nemu who owns it. <3Yup, well, if you really want to know, they recently updated/revamped the game's home page, and here's the character page (http://circus.nandemo.gr.jp/sakuhin/dc2ps/character/index.html). One of the new heroines in particular is very interesting... (though I don't know if she was already revealed in the PV you saw). I think I actually have a good chance of liking the three "brand new" characters at least as much if not more than the "graduated secondary characters". (And yeah, I passed on the "Thanks Pack" too, since it was really just stock replenishment couched in a new box with a little book as an extra to meet the increased demand surrounding the anime.)

In any event, pillow covers, bed sheets, and towels, sold on their own, are basically the only sort of anime-related good left that I can't bring myself to purchase. Well, that and maybe trading cards -- can't quite into that. But if it comes as a pack-in with magazine or something else, no problem; I've been faithfully collecting all the Dengeki G's Festival issues and Comptiq Selections (many of which are, of course, D.C. related). Other than that, games, figures, CDs, manga, anime, whatever... sign me up. Yes, Circus owns my soul too... :cry: :sweat1:
