Yes! I've never played the game of course, but I've been in love with the character designs and have saved many a picture from imageboards of the girls. I've been wanting this to be made into an anime ever since the game hit and fanart started flowing.

ANN's story (http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2007-06-05/kimikiss-tv-anime)

Of note: Officially, the anime will be called Kimikiss Pure Rouge. The forthcoming series will be produced by J.C. Staff and directed by Kenichi Kasai, whose directorial accomplishments include Nodame Cantabile and Honey and Clover.

More information about the project will be revealed on July 29 at a promotional event in Tokyo.
Right now, by LIGHT YEARS the most important thing is that the character designs are hot. Because good lord I need animated Mao, and need it done right.

The quality of the plot is, at the moment, of secondary importance. We'll worry about that later.

Edit: official game site is here (http://www.enterbrain.co.jp/game_site/kimikiss/game_index.html).

Just what I see in fanart, which naturally varies a lot from the originals, though the general characteristics of the characters are maintained.

I just googled a bit and the game's site is here (http://www.enterbrain.co.jp/game_site/kimikiss/game_index.html). Character link is the first one on the left nav. Designs might be a bit plain to some (a friend of mine wasn't impressed) but I love them.

How they translate to anime is another issue, but there's nothing saying they have to be worse.

Wow, they're sure pulling out the big guns for this one. KimiKiss was an insanely popular game that used a lot of high profile Japanese VA's for the main characters. I'm usually not one for this type of series, but the director and animation studio are to hard to ignore.

Yea, wrote a quick blur about this here (http://anime.moyism.com/kimikiss-anime) which includes all the major female seiyuus involved.

Honestly can't wait for the series to air :)

If it's JC Staff and it has a good budget then it'll probably be a must-watch.

NOTO MAMIKO! Yessssss. Seems like an all-star cast in general, assuming they all reprise their roles.
