Ever noticed that some anime females have a mole under an eye, usually the left one. And that those people are losers in love?

Best known is probably Ritsuko Akagi in Evangelion, whom Kaji teases about it, being the mark of tears.

Hikaru in Kimagure Orange Road is another, & Ceres in Ayashi no Ceres also has a mole.

I think there's a bit of folklore which says that people with a mole in the track of their tears are destined for unhappy love.

Chizuna from Lament of the Lamb (manga... was there an anime version too?) is another example.

Meanwhile she'll have a secret affair with Miyuki. Then there will be those occasions where she may want to have fun with twins. The perfect time for Tsukasa to join in. On a side note it's sad that it took me a few episodes to notice that Konata has a mole.

Well, Tomie has a mole under her eye. And she always gets the guy. Of course, they do tend to go all crazy and kill her, so maybe that's a point towards her being unlucky in love.

Yes, there was an anime version (a 4 volume OVA), and the moles are there as well.
