Need help!

Ok, so not to long ago i was incarcerated. While in jail i happen to watch a anime that was on Spike TV i think, or whatever network SwimTV is on. Anyways i cant for the life of me remember the name as i have been trying to find out if its been released on DVD or will be in the near future. It was based on Speed Metal/Heavy Metal bands and they were all either American/Europeans bands, it had a pretty dark theme and was pretty violent also.

If anyone can throw out some names or anything like that id really appreciate it. Been beating myself up trying every thing i could think of trying to google it and have yet to turn up anything. :(

Hmm, my googling says the only anime that Spike TV has aired is Afro Samurai and it doesn't at all sound like that's what you're talking about. What's SwimTV?

Edit: or maybe I'm misreading this and AS is just the first anime STV has been involved in directly?

I can't tell from your post if it was actually about bands or not.
My best guess is Bastard!!, but if it was actually about bands it was probably Metalocalypse, which isn't anime and doesn't air on Spike TV.

BINGO! Thats the one! Metalocalypse! Im just now getting into Anime so my knowledge about it is little to none so sorry to put it in the wrong catagory. So far as Anime goes i have watched Afro Samurai, Hellsing And Vampire D. So as you can see my knowledge in the anime dept is lacking.

Anyways thanks a TON! Now i can try top figure out when its on and set the Tivo or look for it to buy on DvD.
