Okay I didn't find it here so I thought it might be a good place to hold info for Xbox360 backward combatititly. Right now I don't think we need one for PS3 but if there is some interest I will change the title. Okay for the latest update here we go:

WHAT THE ****!!! I have had the Prince of Persia Trilogy sitting on my shelf now for nearly a year and a half waiting for them to become BC, and still the first one is the only one. That is just ****ed up in all sorts of ways. I might as well just trade them into Gamestop since it is pointless to wait any longer.

Do you need to download any updates on your 360 to play some of these Xbox games?
I ask because I bought the Japanese Panzer Dragoon Orta recently which I was told would work ok on my NTSC-J console and is confirmed on the Xbox Japan site but it just won't boot for me.

Yes, it's an update you download. once it's available, just drop the game in and it'll download automatically

Half the titles are in English the other half are in Japanese. Hopefully there is a translated list somewhere.

Ah! My Goddess, thannk you the ALMIGHTY!! About freaking time. This series was about the only one I missed playing since getting my 360. I can live without the live since I never had it in the first place. Now if they can just get the second one up and the rest of the Prince of Perisa series(you & me both DeadlyMessiah) and they'll have every Xbox game I own on the BC.

Still, I should have never gotten rid of my original Xbox and I wouldn't be having this problem.. :roll:

You may want to wait until the next update before you play this game, because I tried playing it on my Xbox 360 today, and there were points were the game sprites became glitchy.

All I have to say is am glad they are still pounding away at this. I was slightly pessimistic about how much BC MS was really going to do.

This update is made of fucking win.

I can finally play Outrun 2 and Tony Hawk 2X again.

Outrun 2 has framerate issues on the 360, but it's still very playable. I think I'll stick with 2006 on my PS2, though. At least after I play through the missions mode again :) I haven't yet unlocked the arcade Outrun 1, so I don't know if that works at all. Or was that a different version? For some reason I'm thinking it might be the Master System version.

Tony Hawk 2X is the best Tony Hawk ever. I'm playing it like there's no tomorrow. I think I saw some framerate drops on one of the XBOX-exclusive levels, but the rest of the game was near perfect. I did see some weird graphical glitches, but they went away as fast as they showed up. It's hard to explain them, but they were there.

I also picked up a crapload of BC games on the cheap yesterday.

Tony Hawk 3: $4, I think. Runs well, but I don't like the gameplay changes from THPS1,2, and 2X.
Project Gotham 1: $3. Seems to be a little slow/has slight framerate issues. Maybe. It might be my mind playing tricks on me. The road in San Francisco definitely looks a little weird, though. It almost looks like little white dots of static litter the road texture.
Project Gotham 2: $3. Sexcellent See the bottom of this post.
Guilty Gear X2 #Reload: $6. It's got some graphical glitches only nitpickers will nitpick over. It looks 99% perfect and runs 100%
SEGA GT Online: $7, I think. I haven't played this enough to make a judgement. I only played the Christmas themed demo on an OXM disc years ago.

Is anybody else getting sound problems in PGR2? It sometimes sounds garbled during races. I didn't hear it at first, but now it's getting worse and worse as I get further in the game.

It displays my button presses under the skater image, but the cursor will not move and I can't even enter the career mode. I haven't has a chance to play the game yet, so I'm not sure if this is a problem with the BC, from the old Xbox, or if my disk is messed up...

Yeah, that's what I've been trying to do to. Unfortunately, getting a hold of Japanese Xbox games is incredibly hard. And that's not counting the rare/weird stuff like Bistro Cupid :(

Dang, no Metal Wolf Chaos (http://youtube.com/watch?v=Genl242_ZU8), which is just about the only XBox game I want to play now - if only because a game in which the President of the USA fights a civil war in a giant robot can't be bad (not to mention all the story sequences being in English anyway).

It worked just fine. There were a few glitches, but there wasn't anything like you mentioned. I had no problems using the menus. I even bought upgrades to my skater with no problem whatsoever.

For what it's worth, my copy's from 2001. I doubt it's the first pressing, but it's probably one of the first versions, assuming they updated the game for glitches and stuff after they initially released it. The disc is also spotless. It was new and sealed when I got it, and it never went anywhere other than my house.

Can somebody please pop in PGR2? The sound's really annoying.

Well, I figured it out. It disliked my Guitar Hero guitars....lol. When I unplugged them, the regular controller started working.

Oh, that'll do it. The PS2 guitar does funny things, too. It makes Time Crisis games not work. I guess one of the buttons is always pressed in the guitar controller, so that tells the game to always get up and get ready to shoot. You can never duck behind cover and reload. I wasted an hour figuring that one out :sd:

I will not be satisfied until Stranger's Wrath becomes BC. Sadly I'm starting to doubt that will ever happen.

On the upside, this reminded me that I need to pick up Morrowind GOTY Edition.
