I'm currently watching Cardcaptor Sakura and noticed that Tsubasa features Sakura in it. Are the two series connected in anyway(Beyond both being made by Clamp)? Specifically, will I spoil CCS by watching Tsubasa? I'm trying to avoid looking this info up in fear that I may spoil something. Any info would be appreciated, thanks!

Two of the main characters in Tsubasa are alternate universe versions of Shaoran and Sakura from CCS. Indeed, there are a lot of Clamp characters making appearances in Tsubasa at various points.
I can't remember there being any specific CCS spoilers in Tsubasa, though.

Connections between the series, avoiding spoilers... good question :D
As you already know, the main characters of Tsubasa, include Sakura and Syaoran. At the core, these people are not the same Sakura and Shaoran from Cardcaptor Sakura, however they have the same soul, and therefor similar personalities.
You wont spoil CCS by watching Tsubasa, the stories are nearly completely seperate. (The only thing that could possibly link the two series is Sakura's clow wand, in Yuko's storeroom, in xxxHOLiC, but that has literally no implications on the storyline of either)

I could see the manga version of Tsubasa crossing over into the CCS universe, but it hasn't happened yet, as far as I know. I wouldn't rule it out as a possibility, though. Isn't the manga supposed to cross over into X (X/1999) eventually? The regular X universe, not some alternate X universe created just for Tsubasa.

I thought most CLAMP titles took place in the same universe. Tsubasa, of course, being an obvious exception since the premise involves characters traveling to alternate dimensions.
But since they visited the world of xxxHolic, they appeared in the main CLAMP universe.

I'm not sure the xxxHolic universe is the same as CCS... in the manga Yuuko said that the Clow staff she had was a toy - would such a thing exist in the CCS world?

Has Tsubasa ever crossed into any other "real" CLAMP universes (i.e. ones where the other series actually took place)? Doing so may be extremely dangerous and introduce spoilers and plot loopholes concerning time.
But then, with CLAMP, anything is possible.

Not all CLAMP manga takes place in the same universe. There's the CLAMP Universe which consists of Duklyon, Man of Many Faces, CLAMP Campus Detectives, Tokyo Babylon, X/1999, possibly those novels, and whatever else I forgot and/or hasn't been released in the US.
Almost every other CLAMP manga has taken place in its own universe or in a small universe. Angelic Layer and Chobits seemingly took place in the same universe, for example.
Everything that happens in the manga versions of Tsubasa and xxxHolic takes place in that multiverse of many universes. It just so happens that those universes contain characters that look like characters from other CLAMP books. Also, in the xxxHolic manga, Yuko directly acknowledges the Cardcaptor Sakura universe, unless that's another wild coincidence. But holy hitsuzen, Batman! I doubt it's a coincidence. Also, Watanuki said something about the guys who looked like the guys from Legal Drug, saying they had some special connection or something. This one may reference the other universe (making it part of the multiverse), it might just be a coincidence, or it might indicate that Legal Drug takes place in the xxxHolic universe. I haven't read Legal Drug, so I don't know if there's anything that would keep it from taking place in the xxxHolic universe, though.
It's also probably not true that xxxHolic takes place in the CLAMP Universe. However, it has yet to be proven that the CLAMP Universe definitely is not within the greater xxxHolic/Tsubasa multiverse. Unlike the CCS and Legal Drug references, no such references have been made by anybody in the greater multiverse.
Keep in mind, this is about the manga universes. The anime universes for the two shows don't seem to be as tightly wound as they are in the manga, or so I've heard. I haven't seen either, and I don't plan to until they come out in cheap box sets and when the Tsubasa season 3/OAV issue gets resolved. If the series ends on a cliffhanger, I'll never watch it. I was just talking about the intracacies of the manga's multiverse because they may influence upcoming Tsubasa and xxxHolic anime storylines.

xxxHolic definitely does not take place in the same universe as CCS. Yuko specifically stated that the staff in her shop was a replica. She acknowledged that the real one in the other universe has great power.
Oh, and I can't believe I forgot Clow Reed. I seriously doubt the Clow Reed that appears in the manga Tsubasa/xxxHolic is a different person with the "same soul." I just don't think that's the way things are going to pan out. I think he's the real deal. In fact, I think it was established that he was the same person in the same set of panels that the staff appeared in. I don't remember. I'd have to go back and look again.

As far as the US released stuff goes, they haven't crossed over into the "real" universes. As far as stuff that has yet to come out in the US, I don't know, but I'm sure we would've heard about it if it did. But I did hear something about Tsubasa crossing over with the "real" X/1999 manga universe a few months ago. I don't know what the deal with that was. I don't know if it was an unsubstantiated rumor or whatnot. I just know that I heard it, and I probably heard it here.
I think it's safe to assume that nearly every CLAMP manga now takes place under the greater Tsubasa/xxxHolic universe and that the potential for crossover is there. They've already established the rules of the "same soul" dynamics, and they've already acknowledged at least one other "real" universe, and possibly another. I think the only mangas that don't take place in the greater universe are ones that haven't had characters with the "same souls" appear in the new greater universe. I don't know what those universes are, assuming there are any universes that are left untouched at all.
