(Major Ending Spoilers!!)
I loaned my friend Please Teacher last week, and a few days after he gave it back to me, he mentioned that he couldn't believe that it took up to episode 13 (a few months in the their time) when Kei and Mizaho finally had sex.
I told him that those two had sex prior, They first had sex at the end of episode 8 (which was a subtle approach). I then popped the disc in and showed him episode 8, then I showed him the beginning of episode 9. I said "look at their faces, (when there are blushing) those are the faces of two people that had sex for the first time."
Anyway, he didn't believe me. So I need to get conformation from everyone here
PS- Also he thought that Mizaho was lying to her mother when she told her that she and Kei and sex too.

I was always of the opinion that they had sex at that time as well. I'm pretty sure the novel makes that much clearer as well, although it's been a while since I read it, so I can't remember the exact evidence in the writing.

You're quite right. Even without the "morning after" scene, it was bltantly obvious from when Mizuho held up the sheet inviting him into her bed the night before.
PS- Also he thought that Mizaho was lying to her mother when she told her that she and Kei and sex too.lol, he's in denial ;). Does he think she faked spy sat vids which Kei was so worried about Maho having as well? ;)

Please change "PT" in the title to Please Teacher. I honestly thought it was about "Princess Tutu" when I opened the thread. >>

I remember reading a review or something that had the same misapprehension about episode 13 (that it dealt with Kei and Mizuho's "first time"). My only thought was that the writer needed to watch more closely.

Grumble Grumble Grumble
Though you have to keep in mind that episode 13 was originally released as a OVA episode in Japan...

Because of the change in broadcast censorship rules that occurred in 1999, it is a lot more difficult to show implied sex over the air. The series that still do it are either OVA releases, or are exclusive to Premium cable/satellite channels (which avoid the broadcast rules...) For this 'niche' anime series, the broadcasters evidently decided that it wasn't worth the effort to try to test the rules with this series...
'Excel Saga' was another series who's last episode was released as an OVA to avoid the limitations of the broadcast rules...

But the point is, they did imply it during the broadcast run, well before ep 13. More than implied it, actually: they basically laid it right out there (so to speak) for any attentive viewer.

Yes, but only an attentive viewer (with ample imagination required)...
On the other hand, (and if you really want to split hairs), you could just simply claim that since episode 13 was a OVA release, (which is true), that it should be viewed as only a 'omake' (bonus) episode that shouldn't be included when discussing the original broadcast TV storyline, (which is complete and ends with episode 12...)

I originally thought it was about Private Topics and was wondering why it was in this forum.
Hmm, I never really noticed that before. Now that I think about it, I guess it could happen and I'll mark that episode down to rewatch later. I really did like the scene after they had sex for the first time where they're walking together hold hands and hanging onto each other as husband and wife heh. Of course like any good harem-like show they get interrupted. But it was nice while it lasted.

Also, she told her mom about the cute sounds Kei makes when he climaxed or when the lil sis kept asking them how many times can you do it a week or something plus they get very intimate with each other after episode 8. Intimate as in how they're able ot do things married couples are able to do together like share baths and whatnot.
I'd still like to see them make an "actually recognized as husband and wife" sort of OVA or short series after school.

Of course you have something like Futari Ecchi(which I've seen and it's great) but I'd still like to see it with the established Onegai Teacher characters :D

Onegai Twins
Yeah but it was kind of a passing thing. I went brain dead after the second episode of "we might be related!" over, and over, and over, and over, and over.

I thought it was blatantly obvious they "did the deed" also.

While not an option for most, if you have the means, I'd highly recommend the Onegai Teacher drama albums. There are four CDs, and the first picks up pretty much where the TV series left off. They're a mixture of in-school and home/leisure life, and while the bits are spread amongst all the cast, there are some cute & funny (& ecchi :virgin: ) scenes with Kei & Mizuho scattered about. The fourth CD actually sets up for the start of Onegai Twins, so that was kind of neat too.
Hmm, have these been released stateside? While I don't mind hunting for them, I can't understand Japanese(aside from a few generic words) so it wouldn't do me much good :sd:

Nope, these are Japanese only, pure drama discs. While there have been some soundtracks released in the US that had a few drama tracks scattered on the discs, I don't recall anyone doing a pure drama release.
