September Preorders

Haven't done this yet so which of September's new releases do you plan on picking up during the month?

In line with my newfound sane and rational approach to buying games, this list will likely look extremely suspect. There's quite a few other games out during the month I'll be getting eventually, but I'm gonna give this "buy what you have time to play" thing a go.

So, for me:

Heavenly Sword (PS3)
Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII (PSP)
Project Gotham Racing 4 (360)

and maybe Skate (PS3).

• Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney: Trials and Tribulations (which means I really should get 'round to playing Justice for All)

I'm more nervous about October, which will mark the inaugural issue of ADC Lotto. :sad: And that's even after redacting the PSP from my purchasing plan once and for all.

Are you sure the new Phoenix Wright game comes out in September? Gamestop has it listed as an October release...

Damn Capcom, they said September! Now it's set for October 23, which is the same day as Front Mission 1st. Anyway, my pre-orders for September amount to

and October's looking burlier by the day … maybe there'll be something interesting on the Virtual Console? Or I could just use the month to catch up on the backlog, if I can just beat those frickin' Xande clones.

September is "Play BioShock and Blue Dragon Month", so I'm not even going to commit to anything else. Eternal Sonata and skate are on the list, just don't know when they'll end up in the player. Might not even be until 2008, since Oct/Nov brings the hammer.

In all likelyhood, I will still be playing Bioshock and Madden come September. So, I'll be lucky if I have even begun Two Worlds, Blue Dragon, DW: Gundamn, and/or Stranglehold by then. (I mean, precision shooting enemies in the testicles sold me on that game! ;) )

So, if I'm lucky, I might be ready for Eternal Sonata when it comes out. Same thing with NHL 08 (or NHL 2K8) and Halo 3.

Quite frankly, I'm going to enjoy the month long break from the release of Halo 3 until the release of Guitar Hero 3. That will be the time to catch up and recharge...hopefully.

Yeah, for me, September's the month to play stuff... especially the releases from August 28th. Metroid, Stranglehold, that Medieval II expansion, Blue Dragon, and prolly some others I'm forgetting. And I need to get Persona 3 still. Oww.

Yeah I thought it was September too, but was told differently. I'm a bit disappointed because I was really looking forward to playing it. And I would pick up the Japanese version except I read some where if US fans wanted the fourth game, we'd have to buy the third one.

I'm looking into Donkey Kong: Jungle Climber on the DS and maybe Sonic Rush Adventure if it lives up to the previous game (does it?). Mama Mia, three months of not getting a new DS game is like an eternity.

I preordered it. Can't wait to make some multiplayer movies. :D

It's one of those franchises that's not well liked 'round these parts.

That said, I've had mine preordered for quite a while.

Other than that, ACE 3 is it.
