Marmalade Boy Movie

Does anyone know if the Marmalade Boy movie is available on DVD? I have the three series box sets, but the movie is not included (it's a prequel to the series, but makes the most sense when viewed after the series).

Yes, it's in the 4th set from TokyoPop.

I was hoping there was an R2 release. Even if I could still buy the R1 sets, it makes little sense to spend that much just for the 30 minute movie.

Sadly, like many TV + movie franchises in R2 land, the TV series was released on DVD but the movie never was. Just buy the last R1 set: given R2 prices it'd probably be cheaper than buying the R2 Movie DVD if such a thing existed.

The movie was released separately on laserdisc. It was pretty cheap, too, so you might be able to find a second-hand copy for a good price. If you can't play LDs, though, I think your only option is the final R1 box set.
