Has Osamu Tezuka's Marine Express ever been released in the US, either in the dub VHS days (as a kiddie cartoon), or from one of the anime licensees?

The Japanese DVD is OOP unfortunately.

Not to my knowledge. It's a shame because it's a fantastic (IMHO) Tezuka anime title. Features an all-star cast of Tezuka created characters.

I was lucky to get it while it was still available . Perhaps you can still get via Anime Jungle's watchlist service or buy it via a service like Masato (http://www.m-world-service.com/) at yahoo.jp auction or AmazonJ marketplace.
