In Summary:
School Rumble really excels in a number of ways and helps to rebuild the overdone comedy genre of the last several years. Through the filter of what we get here in North America, it had become so similar and indistinguishable from each other that you could practically substitute one show for another without too much trouble. School Rumble brings us interesting characters, relatively realistic situations taken to a mild extreme and tosses it all up in the air. It manages to use its cuteness to good effect without overdoing it and providing excellent short form stories that move things along rather than full episodes that feel too drawn out. These first ten episodes have been wonderful to watch and it has me very eager to see more and fill out that locker that came with the first volume. Very recommended.

I liked vol.1 a lot, and can't wait to get v.2 (just waiting for a certain sale).

And it needs to be said again:

Yakumo is love.

Same here. I watched vol.1 last week and absolutely loved it.
I'm hoping TRSI does the 50% off thing on School Rumble soon like they've been doing to all Funi shows.

It's all about Harima though. :P

Eh, might as well give this show a shot. Seems like one of the few good comedy series. And Funi's releasing a DVD a month, so I don't mind picking this up now.

I'm still contemplating this series.

I've constantly been watching ep.1 on the OtakuUSA disc to see if its worthy of being started because I find it quite fun.

I'll have a pretty solid decision by week's end whether or not I should start this.

I like the manga, and I like this series. This is one of the better comedies I've come across, my favorite since Azumanga Daioh.

This should be in everyone's "get" category.
