Though she does not hold a spirit from the past like Misuzu or Kano, she is still rather isolated from others. Until she met Yukito, her only friend was Michiru. Her father is frequently away on business and works as a train conductor. Minagi is the president of the Astronomy Club at school, though she is also the only member, until she makes Yukito a member later on. Like with the other girls, Yukito begins to suspect that she is 'the girl in the sky', but is proven wrong. Minagi has a secret, however, which Yukito comes to discover from Hijiri.

Minagi's mother has a mental illness stemming from when she had a miscarriage with her second child, who was going to be named Michiru. Since Minagi had always been closer to her father, her mother was hoping that this second child would be close to her, but this did not happen, because the baby died. Now, Ms. Tohno thinks that Minagi is that child and adores her, but calls her Michiru instead of Minagi. Minagi is completely wiped from her mother's mind as the mental illness worsens. Now she is under the belief that she never had any daughters at all, and does not recognize Minagi, driving her out of the house. Yukito finds her in distress on the roof of the school, where Minagi describes her life as part of someone else's dream. Yukito strongly suspects that Minagi may be the girl he is looking for when she states that now she is like a person with wings that cannot fly. Misaki is an albino woman with the distinctive lack of pigmentation that accompanies that condition. Her pink eyes and white hair are also accompanied by a complete lack of pubic hair which causes her some embarrassment. These combined features make her very desirable in her line of work as a professional Dominatrix for the Roppongi Myure Mule S&M club and as a contributor to the sex industry magazine ''Honey Chop''. Misaki has a complicated past, and although she works in the sex industry, she is actually a virgin.

Additionally she works for a government agency, The Livelihood Preservation Group, as a necromancer, a person who can speak to and see ghosts, and who sometimes can allow the ghosts to speak with their voice to people who cannot see the ghost. Her government job usually entails helping to remove a troublesome ghost. This is known as exorcising. Misaki considers her government job to be less respectable than her work in the sex industry. She is very self-deprecating about this talent, but is in fact very good at both her occupations.

Quon Kisaragi, RahXephon (http://home.comcast.net/~ape2020/GTSC/Quon_Kisaragi_-_RahXephon.jpg) Spotlight Player Profile: Quon Kisaragi is a mysterious young girl. Her standard expression of surprise or agreement is "Ra-ra" (or "La-la") and most of her dialogue is cryptic and musically themed. She and Ayato are not connect romantically, but she displays a level of both physical and interpersonal comfort and intimacy with Ayato that is unmatched by any of the other characters, even Haruka. She is also one of the few people who never treats Ayato as a curiosity or an annoyance, and she seems to have an understanding of his situation and what his eventual role is, calling him "Ollin" ("motion" in Nahuatl language).

Like Ayato, she has the marks of a potential instrumentalist. She and Ayato are both shown undergoing examinations, and while outside of her home she wears a vest-like device called a Life Module. Quon is skilled in playing both the violin and piano. She also is portrayed as curious about music that other people listen to on headphones, often taking them off to listen to the music. Quon is a Mulian and is the sister of Maya Kamina, and the biological mother of both Ayato Kamina and Itsuki Kisaragi. When she entered the human world, she slept - and stayed young - while Maya woke and grew older. Because of this, she is often called the "Sleeping Beauty." VS Rei Ayanami, Neon Genesis Evangelion (http://home.comcast.net/~ape2020/GTSC/Rei_Ayanami_-_Neon_Genesis_Evangelion.jpg) Spotlight Player Profile: Rei's origin and heritage are left deliberately unspecified, and there is evidence that she might not even be entirely human. Ritsuko Akagi states that Rei was born in a certain room deep in the lower levels of NERV headquarters, but this is all that is explicitly revealed in the series about her creation.

Rei is introversion, seemingly emotionless, and rarely interacts with anyone, except for Gendo, to whom she initially displays loyalty but with whom she has a generally distant relationship. She lives by herself in a drab, dingy, sparsely-furnished apartment in Tokyo-3, a clutter of books being her only apparent luxury items (assuming they are not, in fact, schoolbooks). Toward the end of the series, Shinji comments that her apartment is very similar to the place where Ritsuko says Rei was born. Rei's neutral personality and emotionless nature arouse the scorn of Asuka Langley Soryu, who at one point refers to her as a "doll" or "puppet."

She is the daughter of Seikima, the King of the Shikima, and of Maria, the Queen, who is human and formerly a woman of the Miroku ninja clan. This makes her a half-breed who carries the blue blood of the Shikima. She is the last descendant of her female clan, which has been in a struggle with the rival Suzuka clan for many generations.

A bright cheeriful girl, Miko often expresses annoyance with her abilities and techniques, which are primarily sexual in nature and often viewed as humorous or bizarre. These abilities include hardening her pubic hair to needle-like weapons and using them as projectiles or tools with which to prick erotic pressure points, a technique called ''Nyoninboh'' which causes her clitoris to grow larger than the size of a man's penis, and the ''Aoi Tatsumaki'' (Blue Whirlwind) which turns her hair into a powerful blue whirlwind. She is also frequently associated with spiders and uses razor-sharp wires as her weapon of choice.

Nao is a middle school student at Fuka Academy and the roommate of Mai Tokiha's friend Aoi. At first, she appears to be a child prostitute as she approaches a men who had arranged to meet her over the Internet and they go to a secluded spot. However, before things go any further, she traps them with the aid of her "Child" familiar and robs him.

By devoting their bodies to [[perversion]], they chant their dark spells and control the lusts of the student body. Everywhere the students turn, they are drawn to acts of perversion, even in public. The cult is run by the school nurse, Miss Kitami. Looking for a virgin girl to serve as a sacrifice for summoning a demon, she holds special counseling sessions for the female students.

It was another teacher Ms Takashiro that started the first Magic Club when she finds the book, Bible Black, in an antique bookstore. Her experimentation with its black magic powers escalates to include the whole school. Kitami, was pure virginal transfer student was targeted by more wicked members of the Magic Club but was deflowered in a gang raped before the ceremony. She made a pact with a demon that was summoned to survive and gain power. VS Chikane Himemiya, Kannazuki No Miko (http://home.comcast.net/~ape2020/GTSC/Chikane_Himemiya_-_Kannazuki_No_Miko.jpg) Spotlight Player Profile: The ''Lunar Priestess'' Himeko, Chikane is a very commanding 16-year old girl. She has a very noble and elegant aura, lives in a large mansion with many maids, and is considered to be of the highest standing at their school; she has a considerable fan following of both genders and is the frequent target of love confessions. She is a member of the prestigious kyūdō club and frequently uses the bow as her weapon of preference during confrontations with the Orochi. Later events show that she is also skilled in the use of the tanto. Her combat skills are somewhat reminiscent of those taught to the brides of samurai, possibly another indication of Chikane's family's high standing. Chikane is also exceptionally skilled in the areas of tennis and, more significantly, the piano; she apparently enjoys playing for Himeko, who enjoys listening to her perform.

Many at school believe she has a relationship with Sōma, though this is proven to be untrue. She has been in love with Himeko since they first met, although she does not reveal it until much later on. She eventually appears to "turn evil", vanquishing all but two of the other Orochi heads and assuming their place, after attacking and sexually assaulting Himeko in an effort to force Himeko to hate her. The truth behind her actions is more complex than at first meets the eye. Chikane carries the lunar symbol on her back.

She is shocked at the appearance of her Vandread Jura-type (Red Claw), when she first unites with Hibiki's Vanguard. It resembles a crab with green discs that orbit the machine. This particular Vandread utilizes an enhanced shielding system, which allows it to cover any object, up to the size of a planet, making it more of a defensive weapon than an offensive one. After that she spends a lot of time trying to get Hibiki to make a baby with her so she can become famous back home.

Being an American, and yet having been raised in Japan, she's constantly haunted by the fact that she can never truly fit in either country. When she left Japan to attend high school in America, she explained that she was unable to fit in there because she was culturally Japanese. But she also realizes that she can never truly fit in Japan either, because of her appearance. Tina wishes that she'd been born Japanese, so that perhaps she'd have a better chance at winning Kaoru's heart. Tina is very deeply in love with Kaoru, but pains her heart with efforts to hide her feelings, because she thinks that he could never feel the same way about her.

Im amazed that Mitsuka Yoshimine is leading Saori Shikijo by such a large amount I would have thought it would have been much closer.

Lucy on the other hand was a sure fire winner from the start, I was tempted to put Rio Kinezono in as a wildcard but she wouldnt have faired any better.

Finally checking in the results...and OMG - Ruri/Yuki neck a neck. I know Ruri had the early lead but then Yuki came back and now it's one apiece. If I wasn't a competitor, I'd hate to vote for either of them (Ruri and Yuki are both among my top 10 fave anime girls) but because I am, vote for Nagato pretty please? (Actually if Ruri won, wouldn't mind in the slightest, the sad thing is, if one of them loses that makes it most likely that one of the strongest apathetic players won't get through the next round...almost a re-run of both Sakaki and Tohru's shock failures to not progress in Angelic last year due to both having the unfortunate luck to being up against Belldandy...in truth, a draw would be a good result.)

And if Kit does win, I'll probably kick myself and wonder if Kit could have beaten Tina last round as Misa lost by one vote. Aliele however is surprising me by beating the hentai character - I guess everyone loves their nymph loli lesbians... :) Chloe on the other hand is literally slaughtering Urumi and whilst May is doing better than expected, I think Sae has this in the bag.

I think I figured out a few things about my team this round. Also, hindsight reveals I could have thrown Ran to the wolves(Haruhi) and instead put Mikura in Vicious, and probably done much better. Don't know why that didn't occur to me, other then my obsession with trying to knock Haruhi down a peg. Didn't happen. I was pleasantly surprised with most of the other girls, even Ran, who did better then I expected her too.

Well, let's see what we can salvage over the next two rounds, hmm? Oh, and Fujiko sneaking the win in Hentai means I still might have an outside shot at getting to the finals in that category at least, YAY! :D

Guess my match up ended all square. Won two rounds, lost two rounds and tied one round.

Overall I think myself and Foxfossil had a pretty even team with a heavy hitter each, with mine being Apathetic and Foxfossil's being Vicious, and all our other categories were wide open.

My surprise of the match was Shikijo doing so poorly in the Hentai category and only getting 33% of the votes.
I thought that would have been a much closer match up than the others.
I guess she just wasn't feeling as horny this round.

Well I'll give my girls a pat on their behinds and send them to the hot springs to clean up and prepare for the next round.

Yes I've finally got to updating the standing but first lets review the 3rd round highlights.

Team Leaders: Again no changes in the top five but things are tighting up as Team Cats Down Under and Team At The End of The Moment close to within 20 of Team Boomstick. With Team Ramrod and Team Bokuto Social Club staying in the hunt.

Celler Dweller: Team Hamster is back! While winning its first (and second) game of the tourney. If wasn't enough to stop a hard charging Team The Sausage Girls from passing them up. If its any comfort, Team Bambino seem to be sinking enough to challenge the Hamsters rear position.

Rising Star Award: Both Team Kool-aid and Team Azumangaman's League of Ladies! moved up four places but in rather different fashion. Team Kool-aid used shocking turnround performance in their hentai game. While Team Azumangaman's League of Ladies! continued to ride their superstar Haruhi in the cheeky pool. Well see if they can continue this trend in the fourth round.

Humpdy Dumpty Award: Again two teams get this one. Team Plastic Dream Girls falling four places from 9th to 13th. Team Densetsu Shoujo also had a rough outing going from 7th place all the way down to 11th. We might be seeing the sunset on these team's championship hopes.

Blowout Bowl: Well bottom feeders Team The Sausage Girls and Team Hamster put on a great offensive show. All the games were blowouts of 10 or more points either way. Maybe next time someone should tell them there is such a thing as defense.

Offensive Player Of The Round: Lucy of Team At The End of The Moment put the smackdown on the Lina Inv... Oh wait that was the second round. Well Lucy was at it again by making Mion Sonozaki of Team Densetsu Shoujo cry to the tune of 90 points!

Comeback Player: Goes to the the ghost talking dominatrix Misaki Saiki of Team Kool-aid. She whipped poor Fuu from start to finish. This coming from a girl that lost both previous games rather handly. Maybe its was the
public hair or that shes still a virgin that got all the fanboys to sit up and take notice!

Wild Wild West Archetype:Goes to the Jealeous Pool where there are only two 3-0 teams with the the other two spots being taken up by 2-0-1 teams. Right now this is the field that is wide open and looks like will come down to matches in the forth round.

Most interesting thing is we're both 3-0 in Hentai, so most likely whoever wins this match goes through and whoever loses doesn't, and this is the only round where I'm undefeated (unless Yuki wins in Apathetic and I get some luck with the teams who are above me) so if I lose, despite doing well overall I won't be in a pool final so I think therefore I'm screwed...(bonus points for irony being in the hentai pool... :content: )
