This was a series that got lost in the Summer season, but I enjoyed it. A little boneheaded and cheesy at times, Code-E was a nice little show that starred Chinami Ebihara who produced electromagnetic waves that messed up anything electronic when her emotions got the best of her. It had a R.O.D TV style opening and had a lot of charm to it.

I can't wait for the second season.

Just one question... why? Is it REALLY that popular a show?

I don't know if it was popular but it did very much appear to be half way done with the last episode. In other words, no ending whatsoever.

It seemed to go unnoticed but I found it charming at times due to the lead female character. I've noticed that lots of shows are having sort of a "test run" with 12-13 episodes then coming back for another season if they're successful.

Haven't quite finished season 1 yet, but it's good news, nonetheless. Code-E was just a nice, cute show without much flash or any of the gimmicks that are making the rounds. It even had good old-fashioned dimwitted villains for a change of pace. It's a good pallet-cleanser for the grimmer series, if you aren't into slapstick sex comedies.

Copying my ANN posting from this morning:

Hmm, maybe this time around they'll actually do something with the potentially huge subplot that they teased us with but left completely hanging. Don't get me wrong, the premise is awesome, and the characters are mostly enjoyable, but man did they ever waste the potential of it in their first go. Maybe its just me though, as being a Studio DEEN show, I was expecting something a bit more epic than what was delievered.

Excellent. My only problem with the first season was that it ended the way it did... I couldn't believe they were actually ending the show where they did. It was probably one of the worst-done 'we're stopping here and will hopefully continue in a second season' endings that I've seen in a while, which was a pity because otherwise the show was pretty good.
