a while back, i had been watching Zatch Bell on Toonami. it would take a hiatus here and there and then return to continue the storyline. i think there are 2 seasons of it. just when Zatch Bell was about to conclude with a few episodes or so left, i didn't notice them being aired on Toonami. did my tivo somehow missed those final episodes? or were they never aired?
next thing i know, Toonami was airing Mar and Prince of Tennis. and with Mar, it seemed they skipped some episodes in order to forward the story. i don't think they did the same with the Prince of Tennis. they stopped the storyline at some point and then started airing the two series at the beginning again. and next thing i know, Mar & Princess Tennis were no longer aired on Toonami. so what was up with that?

You have got to be shitting me. Are new episodes of Zatch Bell on there?
EDIT: No, they're just up to episode 33.

Most likely it was because ratings were in the crap-shoot. And I can see why. Zatch Bell was never one of Toonami's biggest properties, and CN pretty much shot themselves in the foot with MAR and Tennis by screwing up the order in which the episodes air. It's like they forgot how to count or something...
CN Advisor: Ok, so what order are the episodes going in for the premiere?
CN Programmer: Let's see, we'll start with 1, then 2, and then 3, 4, 5, 6, 7...
CN Advisor: What the f***? Did you just get out of college? It should start with 4, followed by 9, then 11, 13, 17, 18, 25, 47, 162...got that, idiot?
CN Programmer: Didn't you just get out of college?
CN Advisor: Shut up and do it, or no more free doughnuts.
CN Programmer: All right, I'll do it! Man, why does he always go after my doughnuts...
Yeah, so, it looks like you'll have to go for Jetstream or DVD releases.
I'm convinced that the CN program schedulers are actually playing a life long game of BINGO.

hmm... not sure how that would help. i went there and i only saw it offered up to episode 33 of Zatch Bell. *shrugs*
i guess they never finished airing all of Zatch Bell, so i won't be able to see the ending?

Last time I tried out Toonami Jetstream, it buffered the damn file every 5-10 seconds. (No I am not kidding and yes I had a really nice Internet connection.)
I guess I'll have to break down in the near future and just start buying the DVDs. I was hoping to see more of them on TV and maybe wait until they stopped with the whole "lets use the OPs and EDs we made up instead of the Japanese ones because of nepotism!" crap Viz was pulling.

The episodes cycle from what I've heard, but I'm not sure if they aired any new episodes on it.

My assumption is that they got canceled. New eps of PoT & MAR are on Toonami Jetstream though, aren't they?
As for Zatch Bell!, if you have the patience and don't mind dub-only, you'll have to wait until Viz's DVD releases reach the 78-episode mark before seeing any new episodes. There ARE new dubbed episodes past Ep. 78 (in case people weren't aware of this), as YTV began airing Eps. 79+ beginning mid-September, before putting that on hiatus (along with MAR) over airing movies on Fridays. =\
BTW, did Toonami ever air episode 78?
