dragon drive season 2 announced?

I know wikipedia isn't a good site but i was on there and on the side they said in spring 2008 dragon drive season 2 will air covering the 2nd part of the manga did anyone hear this and is it true?

I saw that too, but I don't believe it.

While it can happen that a second season of an anime is made years after season 1, the fact that the movie is supposed to come out in January, and that we have not heard ANY news of it happening makes it a little unbelievable.

Also, it says that Bandai and Sony Pictures have licensed them already, and I KNOW that there has been any R1 DVD Dragon Drive news since the two box sets were released.

OK February when I said January, but still, news would of been out already.

And Second Season of the anime would be based off of the second part of the manga, but the second part of the manga is shorter than the first part, and yet wikipedia says that it will be a full year worth of episodes. If that was true, then the anime would be full of fillers. The Part 1 anime was great because it did only some filler, and what filler it did do was good. But it still kept it to a minimum.
