And do you think it could possibly EVER get licensed? Because I would like to have R1 DVDs of this show.

Anyway, I saw it a few months ago, but only now did I decide to see what other people thought of it, if they saw it, since all I've really seen in terms of ratings was around average.
After seeing all of it, I thought it was a really good series. The characters were interesting, the Rim Hugens (the mechs of the series) had interesting designs, and the story, though kind of all over in terms of how many sides were fighting each other, was also interesting. But even though I have not seen Evangelion (or Rahxephon either, but I did see Fafner), I can easily see that this was Masami Obari's take on the style of mech anime that Evangelion made popular.
Maybe one reason people were really confused was due to the use of Norse mythology, which is not nearly as widespread as the Christian mythology that Eva used. The Norse mythology DID give it an original feel, though.
Overall, I think it was a good mech anime; the second half did suffer a little bit, but the mech designs and especially the characters helped it out in the end. It aired in 2000, so I'm actually a little surprised that it hasn't come over yet, especially since a lot of Masami Obari stuff has come over (Gravion series, Virus Buster Serge, Fatal Fury OVAs, Detonator Orgun, Toshinden, Gowcaizer, Dangaizer 3, etc.). This is almost like a "lost Obari show".
Hell, I liked enought make my Xbox Live gamertag OG Ordian.
Wow, that was longer than I thought it would be. Anyway, any other opinions on this show?
