Aria The Natural volume 7 has newly been released on R3(TW) DVD. It & the earlier volumes (also The Animation) can be bought either from JSMall or Yesasia.
JSMall has the same boxes as the R2J release, but for a fraction of the price.

Unfortunately the R3s have no English subtitles, but they do have the same LPCM Japanese audio as R2J versions.

I'll definitely be picking that up when 8 & 9 are released to cut down on shipping.

Too bad the art boxes aren't the same as the R2J releases though. The R2J artboxes used Amano Kozue's art instead of art from the anime, which the R3 uses. But at a fraction of the price, it is a steal nonetheless.

I've checked out the R2s. I think I prefer the anime art to manga art. IMO the former is more attractive (though not so collectible maybe), & the characters' eyes seem too pale & pupil-less compared to their anime versions.

I'll be trying the manga soon regardless, can't have too much Aria. :neko: :noodle:

The anime and manga art are really different from each other, and I, too, prefer the art in the anime over the art from the manga. But, the art that Amano Kozue put out for her artbooks and the poster books are absolutely gorgeous - which is what was used for the R2 artboxes. Makes me wish I started collecting them when they were available.

And you can't have too much Aria. I have every manga volume so far, all 3 of Amano's artbooks, and the second posterbook. Can't wait for the third posterbook to release, although shipping will kill me.

Are you thinking about collecting the R2's for Aria - The Origination?

Probably wait for R3 release, although I bought the OVA R2 release. I've also bought the OVA CD & The Natural OST CD.
