Well, I enjoy the high-pitch/soft spoken voices of my Japanese VAs going lower than usual. Makes them sound more sexy than what I imagine. :P

Can't think of any English VAs at the moment. I'm sure I'll come up with something later on.

Anyway, I like deep voiced women, Sanae Kobayashi's Lucy is one of my favorites, along with anytime Rie Tanaka does her "deep and evil" voice.

The voice of Ryûnosuke Ôbayashi gets me all worked up in testosteronicity, particularly for his work as the Mad Scientist Dr Ken Sanada of Parallel Trouble Adventure Dual! Not the deepest, but definitely the fiercest of the deep when he's got a burr in his saddle.

Any character voiced by Koyasu Takehito, Hozumi Goda or Rie Tanaka, but especially Rezo the Red Priest (Slayers), Aburatsubo (Magic User's Club), Joker (Read Or Die) and Suigintou (Rozen Maiden).

True, but most "deep voiced" characters usually have the same talent attached to them. For instance one of my picks in Norio Wakamoto has played characters like..

Vicious from Bebop
Amagumo from Desert Punk(Sunabouzu)
Alexander Anderson from Hellsing
Onsokumaru from Shinobuden

Obviously on the English side rolls like Wendee Lee's Faye and Richard Epcar's Batou are some of my favorites.

Just about any female character voiced by Megumi Ogata. They usually speak in a lower register than the male characters that she has voiced, of what I've seen. For example, Haruka Tenoh speaks much deeper than Shinji Ikari. ;)

Well in English I'd have to say any character Shelley Black voiced. Her voice is like sex and butter.

Also, The Monica can hit a really sultry, sexy, voice when she wants to. Gives me shivers thinking about it.

In Japanese:
Whoever did the voice of Kyon in Haruhi.
And Megumi Ogata.

The fact that his voice is coming out of a character automatically makes that character ten times more awesome.

But to name a specific character, Chiyo Chichi killed me every time.

And yes, Norio Wakamoto just rules, period. Every role of his I've heard is awesome, but my favourite has to be Coach Ohta from GunBuster.

To be honest, other than the Coach, the only other favourite character that comes to mind is Izumi from Nadesico. I know there are others, but I've been playing a lot of ACE 3 recently (which she appears in) so her sultry tones are still fresh in my memory. Loved her dubbed voice too.
