Hey guys, what do you like or even dislike about Eureka Seven. (And no, this is not for a website).

I love how the characters reflect real peoples emotions, the beautiful music score by that young composer and the art style. Unfortunately the 2nd half was much better than the 1st.

Nice art style and animation. Story is pretty lame. Obviously commercial with the lead characters not only 14, but sky surfing. Talk about COMMERCIAL!!! I much prefer stuff like Death Note, Ergo Proxy, Hell Girl.

Talho is hot. Even more so at the end of the series. :D

One of, if not the best boy-meets-girl story out there.

I love the adventure and various romances throughout the show. It's got some great characters.

I only wish the ending was a little more fleshed out. We'll see once I see it on DVD, as the AdultSwim run did some cuts from what I gather.

Well, it boils down to Boy meets Girl, Boy meets Band of Malcontents that hangs with Girl, Leader of Band of Malcontents Doesn't like Boy for a reason, Boy runs away, Boy learns important lessons in life, we learn that the Band of Malcontents have a very good reason to oppose the goverment, Boy rejoins Band and the Girl to help stop apocalyptic plan from crazy general and the series is wrapped up with some radical action with mechs designed by Shoji Kawamori.

There are quite a few things that I liked about E7. For one, the show felt like a retelling of both Mobile Suit Gundam and Zeta Gundam with some unique twist thrown in. The romance between Renton and Eureka was slightly similar to the romance between Kamille and Four in ZG, but RxE turns out much differently. Renton himself has a less aggressive attitude than Amuro and Kamille, but certain events, such as his constant beatings at the hand of Holland, parallel the relationship between Amuro and Capt. Bright. Spoilers for Charles and Ray, along with minor Romba Ral from MSG
The fate of Charles and Ray Beams is very much like that of Ramba Ral and his wife form MSG.

Though, I don't want to sound like I only like the show for it's numerous Gundam homage’s. Even with the homage’s, E7 has a unique feel. It manages to create an epic story, but in the long run, the events happen on a small scale for a good deal of the series. This again draws a parallel to Zeta Gundam, in which the story and battles are epic, yet the Gryps conflict is a smaller scale war than others in the Gundam universe.

What sets E7 apart the most for me, is it's unique mech designs, and atmosphere, along with some great writing.

For me it was the unique cast of characters and character development. :)

Ahh, Eureka Seven. I only finished watching it on YTV a couple of months ago, and it turned out to be a surprise favourite.

One thing that I liked was how the mechas surfed. It seemed a little cheesy, yet cool at the same time.

I also liked how the story built up. While I did like the series, I didn't start to really like it until the 30's, where the conflict truly seemed to begin to escalate. At this point for me, it went from a "hmmm, I wonder whats going to happen next week" to a "DAMN, I can't wait until next week!". It took quite a while for me to start caring about the characters, but when I finally did, I was at a point in the series where it was certainly picking up the pace, & that's a good thing in my book.

The songs were also pretty good. I like all of the opening themes (except for the 3rd OP), and I ended up really liking the 3rd Ending theme.

You know, I watched Eureka seven till the very end hoping to see Holland death, but they disappointed me and he lived. This was after he Put the bun in Talho. I hated Holland before that but they really pissed me off with that.

The only part of Eureka seven that I re watch is when Rento left the Gekkostate , when renton spent time with charles and Ray, The battle between Charles, Ray and Holland and the reunion of Anemone and Dominic and their kiss as they fall.

I absolutely loved the first episode. Especially Renton's "Everything sucks becuase I just arbitrarily decided it does" rant. That was great.

After that, I started to get bored really fast. Like most 50-episode series, this one moved at a dismally slow pace. None of the characters were engaging (except maybe Anemone, and only becuase she was so obnoxious). Renton was so whiny that I'll *never* understand why Shinji annoys people so much. The surfboard mechs never stopped looking silly. The constant 'technobeat' music during action sequences would cause my brain to zone out and miss everything (which was okay by me).

By the end, I realized I had no clue what this Corralian business was all about. And I lacked the inclination to go back and find out. Oh well...

I enjoyed the show a lot. Though, I kind kind of dislike Talho, especially during the first half. I didn't like how mean she acted towards Renton, and I thought she got kind of annoying many times. In that one epiosde where Holland knocks her down, I had a smile on my face. Sorry, but I am not a fan of characters like that, especially for female characters.

It would have to be the mech design of the end. The end get screamed evil to me, and it could back it up also. I really enjoued Amone and Domonic's realtionship in the series, though to bad Renton's and Eureka's one wasn't as interesting to me.

I wasn't too interested at first, got hooked after 4 or 5 episodes, & it's become one of my favorites. Great storytelling, great visuals, great acting (though JYB's Renton took awhile for me to get used to), great music, great, great, great. Loved it.

Well the animation is top-notch, decent story, somewhat interesting characters. However, I didn't expect BONES to make this show for me, more for 15 year olds. RahXephon is more my cup of tea. More mature mecha.
