I'm just wondering - which anime do you think has been parodied the most?
To make things easy for others to read, list the anime that is being parodied and the other anime that is parodying it. You can add to other people's list if you feel that they have missed out certain anime that have parodied the particular anime.
Here is an example:
Initial D parodies:
Miami Guns
School Rumble
Lucky Star
(I'm pretty sure there has been more anime that has parodied Initial D but I can't think of more. Also, I'm pretty sure Initial D is not the anime that has been parodied the most).

Mobile Suit Gundam parodies:
Excel Saga
The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya
The Great Bear

I haven't watch many parody anime titles, but I think I can come up with one.
Mobile Suit Gundam parodies:
Excel Saga
The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya
On the same score, both titles also parody Leiji Matsumoto's works, especially Space Battleship Yamato (Star Blazers).

Excel Saga

To add to the list, isn't half the time Keroro Gunso trying to parody the Mobile Suit Gundam series?

I can't speak for all of them but you're going to need to remind me:
Since when did Blue Seed and Fushigi Yugi have a Sailor Moon parody scene?

I don't know about parodies but the one thing that has become a complete cliche that drives me up the wall is that ever since Evangelion, I see more and more male characters with glasses pushing them up on their nose with their middle finger while they're talking. It's the EXACT same way that Gendou Ikari did it in Eva. It's as if all these animators saw it, thought about how cool it was since no one thought messing with your glasses could be that important looking, and then put it anywhere in any show they could think of. Every time I see a character do that now, i want to hurl something at the TV.

For Blue Seed, anyway:
On disc 2 (of the Perfect Collection, anyway), in the Omake Theatre short #4 "Go, Animation Girl!". Momiji wins the talent show and is scouted for a bigger job, and they show the group two years later watching her on TV and how she's become so much "like that Sailor Moose girl."
(Which, I believe was a parody on Megumi Hayashibara herself, as the reason Kunikida gives is "a voice actress problem of Megumi being cast in Japan" --instead of Kotono Mitsuishi, perhaps?)
Also... the WB is referenced/parodied at least once that I know of. (In Perfect Blue, when the director and script writer are talking over the phone, one of the buildings behind then has "Wanna Bee" in their style.)
Walt Disney has been parodied twice, at least to my knowledge.
Ergo Proxy - A GREAT episode with Pino
Cowboy Bebop - Spike goes to "Space World/Land"
It was hilarious to see Spike beat up faux Goofey. That and some nice camera work.

What's the big deal, people do that in real life. Just like the SOS brigade!

Fushigi Yuugi's was very early in the anime when Miaka was first in the city, and depended in part on her seiyuu, Araki Kae, having pinched hit for Mitsuishi Kotono as Usagi when the latter was ill for BSSM episodes 44-50 (last three episodes of the first season (the finale arc, and a fantastic performance especially given how she had to step in at the last moment) and the first 4 of the second series (the Ail and Ann arc)). She was then cast as Chibi-usa.
Anyway, when Miaka is confronted by some street thugs, she shows them the smallpox inoculation scar on her shoulder and launches into the usual "I'll punish you" (in the name of the Sun???) spiel, which freaks them out for a moment. It is very funny.

That's the indirect way of saying "F U", only with some distinction. Really though, I believe that's how a lot of people reposition their spectacles. Gendou might have popularized it, but that 'trait' has probably been used elsewhere before Eva.

Both the Negima series with their Baka Rangers, parody of Sentai shows like Power Rangers.
I'd add Pani Poni Dash! but that whole show seems like a series of parodies anyway...
More recently, Genshiken II's opening is a Gundam parody.

Pretty much every other magical girl after this show.

Yeah, I know what you mean but I was trying to explain (which is hard without actually seeing it) in Anime where the glasses are all flat white, the character says something semi cool/insidious, the camera is at a dramatic angle, and as soon as he pops his glass up for emphasis, the glare goes away and you can see his eyes. That's the shot I'm talking about. It's like a joke you've heard so many times, you dread the punchline but know it's coming... like a car wreck.

It's sorta like the cliche of "dramatic glasses removal" in American films, that Jim Gaffigan made fun of in his stand-up act.

The amount of Yamato references and parodies that pop up in shows over the years is too numerous to mention. I'm pretty sure it's mandatory for studios to put a nod to the show in a lot of their own stuff. :) Doesn't matter what type of show it is, there's a Yamato/Star Blazers reference in there somewhere...

There's also Sakigake Cromatie High which has a Marimite parody for an episode. And I believe Koi Koi 7 also parodies Marimite.
