"Moon Surface Rabbit Weapon Mina"

In a cool and timely move, Fuji TV has spawned a new anime series just this month that began as a fictional anime series within the story of the popular anime and manga Densha Otoko (literally, Train Man): Getsumen to Heiki Miina loosely translates as "Moon Surface Rabbit Weapon Mina," and revolves around the activities of Rabbit Force, a group of rabbit-clad alien women whos prime directive is to enforce a new intergalactic ban on inter-terrestrial interference.

The original series is being released on R3 (so cheap but untranslated) http://mall.jsdvd.com/advanced_search_result.php?categories_id=&inc_subcat=1&keywords=rabbit&x=6&y=17. Has anyone seen this & if so is it any good or likely to be licensed?

I actually finally got around to watching the first ep not long ago and didn't feel much incentive to continue.

I've seen it, and loved it. It's just a fun fluff series where you can turn off your brain and watch all the wackiness. I liked it enough to buy the r2s, and I'm glad I did, since they made 2 dvd exclusive episodes. I'm not sure on it's chances of getting licensed. It's a Gonzo series that aired around the same time as Pumpkin Scissors, Red Garden, and Welcome to the NHK. ADV licensed all of those, but didn't get this series, so I think that says something.....but you never know since it's a Gonzo series.

This is one show that flew off the radar for some of you. I personally think this is one of the most entertaining shows I've seen in a while. For some reason, the tone of this reminds me of some of those titles released by Pioneer like Moldiver, Tenamonya Voyagers and NieA_7.

I love the catch OP and ED. And I think Tsukuda Mina and Suiren make a lovely slashable yuri couple. :) And unless I hear proof otherwise, I'm convinced that two older Mina (the two who are always in the bar cooking or preparing drinks for the TV crew) are ****ing each other.:blush:
