Maison Ikkoku movie

Does anyone know where I might acquire a copy of the R2 DVD of the Maison Ikkoku movie? The one that takes place the night before the wedding? I've given up hope on it ever being released in R1. I'd like to buy the R2. Unfortunately I can't find it anywhere.

Yes, Yahoo Auctions Japan (auctions.yahoo.co.jp/). You'll need to go through a deputy service. Try searching for めぞん一刻 完結篇. I saw a few for sale there (including at least one VHS tape!).

Edit. Ah. I see, a little googling goes a long way. If you recommend one in particular that would be great, but otherwise I think I've found at least one.

Personally, I've used Akibado (www.akibado.com/) and Japan Shopping Service (http://www.japantoy.biz/) before. Akibado can be a little slow at shipping out products and biding, but are fairly competitive in pricing. I think there is a thread around here somewhere that goes into further detail about bidding on Yahoo Auctions Japan and the various deputy services. When I get home from work, I'll search around for it.

This is, of course, the expensive route to get something. However, for those of us outside Japan that do not know someone inside, it can sometimes be the only way.

I use http://www.m-world-service.com/order.html which has never disappointed me yet. Masato can do auctions or just shop around for you. Good English as well.
