The first choice is very easy - the awesomeness of Yuki Nagato of course. And second vote goes to Tomo, as I have a feeling she will need all the support she can get(she's quite different from Nagato despite also being a favorite - might as well support a variety too). Makes me sad I can't also vote for Ahiru, Akari, Syaoran, Sora, Tomoyo, or Fate, though. So many great characters this round.

The fact that Sora didn't get the automatic vote she normally does shows just what a line-up Round 2 has. Whilst I could go the subliminal voting technique for my girl (V.O.T.E.K.A.G.A.M.I...*er dammit how did that get there?) Sora had tough competition with Fate, Ahiru and Akari in there as well.

However, I knew I'd be lying to myself so apologies to the other two Sato heroines and Fate-chan, but Sora gets my second vote as well as Kagamin-sama as well of course.

Arrrgh. Trying to break it down more is like trying to divide by 1. Do it as much as you want, the number isn't going to get any smaller.

Can I really say no to Fate? Kagami is the best Lucky Star character. Tomoyo is just fuckin' Tomoyo. And all three can be shipped (with greater or lesser degrees of imagination required) into mind blowing yuri pairings.

Sigh... I guess Kagami just barely misses making the cut. What a shame, she would be a lock in almost any other round.

All right then there are several nice choices here making it hard to decide. I will feel guilty about not voting for the following characters below. However I only have two votes to work with. Note just because a character is not included character does not always mean hate. Some characters I like rather than love. Plus some characters I'm just not familiar enough with to be honest.

Yeah it's too bad, they were unlucky enough to be in the same round, but these things happen and will happen again. I can already tell by looking at future rounds through the draft board of draftiness and images! However I'll worry about what decisions to make when those rounds come. Too much thinking early on will be a waste of time and too much stress as well. I can say the four above definitely have their nice points.

That being said the two characters I will vote for all are the following. Tomo Takino (Azumanga) and Kagami Hiiragi (Lucky Star). Yeah that's right I'm going with them. As for why? Well let's see here Tomo Takino can be quite fun sometimes even if she is insane. Kagami Hiiragi is rather attractive, I like her character, and the Kagami-group can be fun.

As for other reasons, I get the feeling some know me better than myself and will come up with a long list of why I chose those two over everyone else knowing my luck. Now the only question is how expected or surprising these two votes are. Also I'm sure my choices disappointed some, but for every two votes ones makes you end not voting for eighteen others.

Hmm, so the voting begins.

After drafting my character, I looked even further into the series (i.e. spoiling most of the entire series for myself), and I think, "damn, I really need to watch more of this."

Despite that, I have decided not to vote for Utena. Had there have been only one (or no) character(s) that I wanted to vote for, then I would've voted for her. But that isn't the case for me this round. On top of that, I've decided that I would formulate a better opinion of her if I watch more of the series.

And with that, I've decided to vote for Kagami and Belldandy. Out of the 7-10 characters on the list that I know of, they were the only two that I really cared for in their respective series.

On a side-note, looking back at Round 1, had I watched Code Geass earlier, I would've definitely voted for Lelouch or C.C. They're awesome characters, and it's kinda sad that they didn't get too many votes, especially C.C. :(

Miss Sakaki finishing in the Top 5 was something I expected from her so I'm very pleased with the results. I didn't expect her to beat the likes of Kaname, Lafeil, and Belldandy, but I'm a bit surprised that Ahiru beat he though. Still, though, only three votes out of third place which is very good in my view, and she did kick Tomo's butt so in that sense I'm very happy with her performance. :>

I also see many of the unlincensed shows not doing as well as in the first round. I would guess that has more to do with the poll being more public then the first. Those shows being talked about but not lincensed have a few fans that will seek them out to show their support. But the public at large could care less unless the forum is right in their face like the side polls.

Asbolutely. It's gives a much more varied feel of the popularity around the board rather than just the one forum area. Yuki did decently well it seems, so I'm happy about that. I'm sad that there still doesn't seem to be much love for Tomo around here, though (my choice to vote for her certainly wasn't wasted :( ) I'm quite impressed with Ahiru, though, even with all the other Junichi Sato heroines around, she had a really good showing. Glad that there's Tutu fans around and voting.

Kaname came out as I had hoped. As I mentioned earlier, I drafted Kaname to counter Lafiel, and it worked. I'm glad I didn't have to draft the Abh princess to win the round.

Now I need to decide what the instory consequences are of winning over Lafiel.

Very. Although Asuka is a very capable person, I'm quite glad I got Kaname on my team first. She is an outstanding field captain.
