This game is a freeware doujin mech fighter game which is basically the answer to the question "what if operating systems were Gundams?". Originally released in Japanese, it has now been translated to English (with the original author's permission, even) by mirror moon (http://mirrormoon.org/projects/windom). It has netplay, and you can even create your own pilot voices for it. It supports the use of gamepads, though it doesn't seem to have any rumble support and you will probably want to remap the default control scheme. There's a gameplay video on the page I linked if you want to see how it plays, and the game itself also has a practice mode where you can wail on a stationary computer mech to get the feel of the controls.

My impression: Not impressed.

I can run this game on medium settings w/o lag, but no higher. This is a machine that can run Doom 3 on high settings w/o problems.

For being essentially a Third Person Shooter, the control scheme is a complete mess.
Cardinal sin #1, no mouse support. Would've it hurt to allow mouse for aiming or even looking (which would be especially useful when looking for a mew target)?
Cardinal sin #2, the camera is terrible. In a 3PS game like this, a slow reacting or poorly positioned camera is a major nuisance. This especially becomes a problem if and when you're taking fire from multiple sides.
Other annoyances: Why isn't dash continuous? Especially annoying if the enemy is a long ways away. A complete lack of documentation doesn't help matters.

B- for effort. D for execution.

There is not "a complete lack of documentation". There is a manual PDF file in the Documentation subfolder in the game's start menu item. Also to do a continuous Boost Dash you double tap Jump but hold it down instead of letting go on the second tap. You can then steer yourself towards the target enemy.

I will concede your other two points, but this is a freeware doujin game made by some random dude in Japan, do you honestly expect it to be perfect the first time?
