What are good ways to reduce the volume (as in, length x width x height) of you collection?

I have like...close to 300 discs in my close-to-300sqft room, so I've finally started thinpakking my stuff, starting with some non-boxed series with less-than-stellar packaging (if it requires trimming, that is)

I found a 25-pack clear thinpak in Microcenter made by Pengo. The bonding quality is pretty weak (at least it doesn't have the horrible plastic smell like the Dynex one I bought in Fry's), but the advantage is that the bonding between the thin sleeve and the case is really close to the edge. I managed to convert a few of my Geneon discs WITHOUT trimming the covers! So far I've converted Texhnolyze, Paranoia Agent, Hanaukyo, Master Keaton, etc. I couldn't get Haibane in well). Bandai & ADV stuff are also usually too wide :(

For some not-so-good stuff, I'm looking for a DVD folder that can store the disc and the cover (without cutting it, that is). Any suggestions?

This is why I usually look for boxes becuase I'd rather store boxes then singles. Although I guess the ironic thing is that they end up taking more space depending on the shelves, but I like to have everything in a neat package.

Memorex makes good double cases, and TDK makes decent quad cases where none of the discs overlap. (Memorex also makes good quality thinpaks)

Another AoD member mentioned the trick of putting all 2 or 4 covers together under the sleeve. You can't see the other covers, but they're intact.
