I'm gonna sidetrack a bit here, but I've been been wondering since December what in blue blazes is 'deculture' supposed to mean.

Un-culturalize? Take away someone's culture?

Mayhaps it is some term that's only relevant in the Japanese vocabulary? I know not the answer... and this mysterious word is driving me bonkers.

"deculture" is the Zentradi word for "culture," I believe.

No, its more of a generic Zentraedi exclamation of surprise, that got adopted into the mainstream language in the Macross Universe.

Didn't they use it in every other sentence in the Macross movie? "Unthinkable! Enemy! Unthinkable!"
