While the release date has been pushed back AGAIN (now 18/4/08) PLAY has their copies in stock and are shipping as usual. Considering 505's track record with RPGs I'd order now before they pull another Ar Tonelico.

Play now says temporarily out of stock, either everybody pre-ordered it or they got in a half dozen copies. I'm suprised 505 are even bothering to release it at all I thought they gave up on teh ps2 market mid-last year.

I've got it preordered on HMV, but no sign yet. Hope they go through with the release as the PS2's not quite dead yet meaning there's still money to be made there!

The PS2 would be quite happily running around and skipping if Sony and Retailers didn't keep stamping on its head. Judging by all the US releases still happening there's at least another year left in the Ps2 yet, but as far as the UK market place is concerned they keeping killing it on purpose.
I went into town the day after persona 3 came out and not a single shop had a copy, 2 HMV's, 1 Zavvi, 2 Game, 1 gamestation. not a single copy not even a space for it - good job I got it online.
I wouldn't be suprised that it's exactly the same with Wild Arms 5, IF it even sees the light of day from 505.

Apparently the few copies that were produced for release on 11/4 are all that are going to be made.
If you still crave WA5 trawl the smaller stores or buy the French version.

It's not so much that I wanted a copy and missed it, I now want a copy because I probably wont be able to get one easily, call it obsessive but I like the hunt for rare games.
*adds warpaint* The hunt is on!!!

I'm just buying the NTSC version. Sure I could hunt down a PAL copy but if 505 wants to screw the fans by not giving the game a proper release they not getting my money.

I went looking through a few of those international games website for a US PS2, (national console support / CD universe / videogames plus ) I'm buggered if I can actually find the hardware instock links to all the different genres of games but no actual hardware links.

I have a guy in the States who can ship one over to me if I can't find a direct source.
