Target: Terror for the Wii... A great game hidden within technical craptitude?

IGN Wii did a review (http://wii.ign.com/articles/869/869335p1.html), and a video review(?), for Target: Terror, the Wii port of a 2004 FMV rail-shooter.

Yes an FMV rail-shooter from 2004 being released in 2008.

The main thing is that as low of a score as they gave it, a 3.5, they at the same time "praise" it as one of the best novelty games ever.

The hard part is whether this is all one big joke, since this review has actually made me consider getting it!

Sounds like a “so bad, it’s good” type deal.

Personally, I don’t even worry about number/grades, since they don’t hold any inherent meaning and can often be at odds with the actual review.

As for this particular game, $40 seems a bit much for what's offered, but I suppose if you’re into ultimate cheese, this could be a perfect game.

Sadly, I think I actually played this at a local arcade…

I'll definitely be picking this up, but only when it drops in price. I'm a sucker for any and all lightgun games, especially when they're on the Wii, so can't pass this one by! :sdsmiley:

Oddly enough, I'll probably go ahead and grab this as well as both PMD games for fullish price sometime this weekend depending on if I use an Amazon seller or come across one this weekend and see what kinda price gulf the sales tax creates.

I want more lightgun games on Wii...and since buying Used helps next to none and massively slashed New sales only help a tiny bit...well....
