I recently watched the 2 Geneon R1 discs of Saiunkoku and found it surprinsingly quite good. I'm actually sad to part with those 2 DVD's...( after all, they are useless to me now and only a sort of torture! ). After the 10 episodes i was definitely ready to ride with it for all 40 or so eps. of the first season, and probably all future seasons/ova's.

I was wondering if it had been released anywhere else than Japan and US, so i could still buy it with at least english subs and human pricing. Like maybe in the UK or Australia? I think i'm being too hopeful here right...:depressed:

Just have to wait and hope that it gets a release at some point. Geneon paid for a dub through the entire first season, so it'd be a shame for them to have wasted the money to do that and get nothing back.

Maybe this is TSRI's announcement tomorrow.
One can dream, can't he?

The first ten episodes were very good, it definately moved a lot quicker than I thought it would after the first 3-4 episodes butit made sense after finding out that 1-7 was based on the first novel.
