What MMO's do some of you play? I'm getting a new computer soon so I'm gonna get some MMO's. I'm looking for nice people basically.

Anyone play WoW? I'll probably get that first.

I played WoW. I'm not playing in the meantime in the hopes that I can live out my dream job, but that's neither here nor there. :P Not really sure what server you were planning on going to or what style of the game you wanted to play (Horde? Alliance? PVP? PVE? RP?), but horde Elune's just, like, not fun. My guild had a lot of nice people to play with, but the population in general was pretty weak, an issue with horde on PVE rulesets in general (I hear Zul'jin's pretty good, though I don't play there personally).

Warhammer Online looks potentially promising, though I won't be playing it for various reasons (primarily because I like to PVP, but only when I feel like it). Other than that, a lot of MMOs are kind of lacking at the moment in comparison to WoW.

I play City of Heroes (and Villains) mostly on the Infinity server. Even though it's decidedly not a new game at this point, it's been getting pretty substantial re-investment and development lately, so I think it's got a good future for a while yet. Part of why I like it is that it's friendly to a casual player - you can access interesting content and advance your character even if you're only playing for an hour or two at a time. Much more PVE activity than PVP, though, if that makes a difference to you.

I used to play Asheron's Call for five years, tried to get back into it to no avail. While an older game I'd jump at the chance to go in with a couple AOD'rs.

I was playing Guild Wars, all including the expansion. I stopped because its installed on my work pc and since I moved and used a wireless adapter for the PC, the connection is bad. Its not the wireless signal, its the adapter, I should really return it since its a defect but so lazy, lol.

Although I'm not sure exactly how many are left after six years, I should still have a solid monarchy base if anyone would want to give it a try. It's an olderish game that should run fine on almost any computer, this thread makes me want to play again :sweat1:
