Even the link is spoiler-ish, but have at it anyway:

I'm so excited, even though I haven't quite finished watching season 1 yet (or seen the drama), but it's great to have more Nodame/Chiaki goodness in full orchestral sound. :sdsmiley: Hopefully this bodes well for the Fall '08 season.

Shame Geneon couldn't have been around to pick this one up. A full-tilt Nodame release complete with sdtk CDs would've been outstanding. :depressed:

That is excellent news indeed except for the fact that now we need to hope for both season to be release....in R1

How's it spoilerish? It clearly says in the last episode that they were both (actually not to sure on Nodame.. but Chiaki 100%) going to Paris. Anyway I really loved the first season and the 5 volumes of this arc I've read have been just as good as the material in the first season imo. So I'm really rapt at this news and this is easily my most anticapted show for fall 08.

Should be fun to see them handle French. Nodame's "lessons" are one of the more amusing parts of a lackluster arc so far (from what's available in English).

Hot. Maybe they can put the anime spin on it and make it awesome.

Great to hear.
Eagerly awaiting this.

Hope they got a bigger budget this time around to actually animate more concerts.

Nodame Cantabile was a happy surprise for me. I went into not thinking anything about it, just that it would be an anime I'd be watching. Well, by the end of that show I was hurting for a second season.

So I'm really excited for October, this has already made my fall.

Fuck yeah, about time. Nodame was one of the absolute best shows of 2007.

Omni's blog mentioned this was going to be 11 episodes only... I'm kinda trying to think if there's a suitable stopping point in the manga... maybe I haven't reached it yet in the 5 volumes of the Paris arc I've read...

Wow, I hope that's wrong. I could easily go for two cour of Nodame. One would be a bit disappointing, though probably still awesome. Chipping 1-2 eps off an already short one cour is just mean though =P

That would suck considering how much of Nodame is still to be explored - of course, any more Nodame is good news, but the more the better...

Yay. More epic classical music moments! I've quit piano, but my love of all things classical music remains.

Awesome! I still need to watch the second episode of the live action special episode, but I can't wait to see it in animated form.

The change in directors has me worried.
But, then again, Honey & Clover II also had a change, and it turned out great.

Hopefully Kenichi Kasai still supervises though.
