Note: The second season episodes will be labeled "Second Age Episode 1" or along those lines. I don't see any point in starting a new thread for them. Especially since it's more like a quick name change than a new season probably. Especially given that season 2 started airing right after season 1 from what I can gather.

I have no idea why I'm watching this series, but since I am I figured I may as well start a thread for it and occasionally comment on the episodes. So here goes nothing as it were. At the very least I'll comment on the first three episode as I have those pre-typed. May as well copy and paste the warnings from another thread.

All right the first episode mainly involves a quick scene with random guys fighting to save someone. Clearly based on what happens next this is your classic "future" scene. In any case the episode mainly involves Nyx meeting Angelique and talking about how she has powers. In part because she healed someone by touching their hand. Someone that was attacked by Thanatos.

Thanatos which are apparently creatures that suck out life force and make people look really old. Nyx believes with this power, Angelique can purify and defeat the Thanatos. However she denies having the power. Which leads to the two debating. I found Nyx's line about how not using power when you have it can be considered a sin.

You also have another guy introduced named Rayne who has "lead" male written all over him. He's mainly a gun user where as Nyx uses a whip. In any case Angelique finds him injured and helps him out. Oh by the way Angelique wants to be a doctor. To make a long story short the Thanatos attack and after a few things happen, Angelique activates her power. Which destroys Thanatos and makes you look young again.

Others notice/sense what's happening. And Angelique is declared as the Queen's Egg. Who apparently needs to be incubated. And in the preview you get talk about needing to be warmed? Okay then. For a first episode it's not anything amazing and has expected moments. However for some reason Angelique's has me a bit curious.

And thus Angelique moves into the Hidamari Mansion. Which also leads to her getting a much better outfit. One that I will clearly approve. Yes by paying attention to Angelique instead of the guys, I'm like defying the reverse harem thing. In any case they talk about the situation with there be a whole lot of Thanatos and thus many in danger. Angelique wonders if battling the Thanatos can save more people than she would have as a doctor.

A new party member has joined. Okay rather Angelique has gained a pet cat that she's named Ervin. Ervin does not like Nyx. Does this mean Nyx is evil or does it means Ervin is evil? Or does it means absolutely nothing? Only you can decided. Either way it's time for a dinner conversation. Later followed by Angelique outside in her night clothes.

And the next morning Ervin begins his reign of terror by trashing Rayne's room. Nyx comments on how Rayne's room was already a mess anyway. Apparently he has a special order. Also yeah the guy has this cold shoulder vibe to him. A phone call is recieved which leads to Angelique's first assignment. Which involves Rayne's homeland... Thus he and Angelique are heading there. Meanwhile Nyx is off commenting about Angelique's cruel fate while smiling. Eww suspicious vibes +1

Angelique and Rayne arrive to discover that someone else already defeated the Thanatos. Rayne suspects it may be another purifier. Ah yes the cat somehow came along and Angelique gives chase. The cat leads her to a guy hiding under a table. Who was supposedly waiting for some pretty girl to come along. Yeah right... His name is J.D.

The Thanatos however is back and J.D. goes to battle against it. A battle which Rayne eventually joins and helps out with. The battle of course ends with Angelique using her special power after the HP of the Thanatos is put in the red. Okay maybe not exactly, but close enough. In any case Angelique wants him to come with them, but he decides to say goodbye instead. However he'll be sure to visit the Hidamari Mansion someday.

As they head home Rayne and Angelique end up on better terms than before. They find J.D. in an Apron. Well since Angelique invited him, he decided to accept it. The episodes with mysterious people raising some object or whatever up.

This is one of the few things I watched without making a post on it... I saw the first ep and didn't drop it on the spot, but it did go to near the back of the line, and then I eventually just dropped it and decided to focus on the 17 or so shows I wanted to continue more.

Let me know if it gets awesome or something, though.

In this episode it's revealed there is an Artifact Foundation who supposedly wants peace in the world. Angelique and Rayne are given a task to gather this object. While Nyx and J.D. stay behind. J.D feels he could have gone, but Nyx notes it would be bad for him to get involved with the foundation. In any case since Rayne's busy browsing books, Angelique decides to do other things.

Which eventually involves following a magical butterfly. She follows it to a spring and finds a guy bathing there. By the way the butterfly went into the guy's body. The guy comes out of the water in order to put (the rest of) his clothes on. Then he mysteriously vanishes. Angelique meets up with Rayne.

In any case you get talk about the Silver Knights who serve the Queen and how because the foundation dispatched them this time, they must be interested in the Queen's Egg. Angelique and Rayne arrive at the foundation. Rayne is referred to as Profressor Rayne. Rayne tells "Erin" not to call him that and Erin doesn't want Rayne to call him Erin. Erin's full name is Erenfried. Angelique is about to introduce herself, but Rayne interrupts her.

It's clear that Erin and Rayne don't like each other much. Also Erin should be familiar to anyone who remembers the first episode future scene. Erin wants Rayne to only defeat the Thanatos this time. The artifact they are going to is the Ship of Stars raised in the previous episode. Oh yes there's some guy taking random pictures.

In any case Angelique and Rayne are exploring the artifact and eventually find the Thanatos and start attacking them. While they're busy some guys are setting some device up. However as more Thanatos come, Rayne notices them and they chase after them. Which eventually leads them outside where more Thanatos attack. And of course outside the same guy is still taking pictures. Which is clearly not a good idea. Lucky for him Spear Guy saves him. After he does a bit of showing off the Thanatos are all slaughtered err I mean purified.

Rayne asks Erin what the guys were up to, but Erin won't tell. Instead he talks about how Rayne can't face his older brother. Rayne and Angelique meet up with Spear Boy who apologizes for the indecent in the forest. He introduces himself as Hyuuga and claims ever since he saw the Aurora he was looking for the Queen's Egg. Essentially he's asking to join as one of her servants. Rayne states he's not a servant. Angelique wants Hyuuga to join as a friend figuring he can help them save more people. Thus from now on he'll be her shield.

It turns out that the foundation itself wants the camera guy to investigate the girl. Thus leading to some mysterious talk between Erenfried and some guy. Meanwhile Hyuuga is introduced to the others and someone is watching them. Who of course will probably be revealed later.

You'll probably be able to tell based on my comments as I post. Where my criteria meets yous will be another story. Granted the hard part is sometimes I have poster's block and sometimes I'm kind of at the whim of other forces.

I'm too out of it to do a full fledged post so here goes. In this episode we have a reporter. We also have the guys getting into arguments including a cooking scene. Also some robotic dude comes to attack and owns them. However thankfully Angelique learns she can cast "Might Guard". Okay not exactly, but she powered them up anyway. Also the guy is from the foundation and made comments about J.D. being defective. Yeah I guess that means he's probably a robot or cyborg or whatever. Well even reverse harems need such things.

Angelique is asked to help a child's mother, but because of the crowd she has trouble. We get a bit about her past. Which includes seeing her as a young child and finding out Thanatos attacked her and her parents. In the end she manages to heal the person. Also Angelique is growing more famous. Over all a decent fleshing out episode.

So in this episode Angelique meets up with the religious leader "Matthias". She gets stalked by that reporter a guy. Some young silver knight familiar with Matthias named Rene saves. Matthias wants Angelique to stay with him for her own protection. However as expected she'd rather stay with her "harem". Hmm I get the feeling the next episode is focused on J.D.

All right this episode focused on J.D. Who collapses at the start of the episode allowing the others to make a discovery. Essentially he's a machine aka artifact. He gained emotions over time because of a friend named Kai who eventually died. All this leads to a method that wakes him up. J.D. of course worries about his emotions possibly being fake and becoming just another weapon like the one they faced earlier. Still they convince him to stay with them. Ah yes apparently the foundation plans to build more artifacts. Yeah they're likely the evil.

Ah yes so apparently Erenfried is jealous of Rayne. An anti-thanatos weapon is built, but let's just say things go wrong with it. Also Rayne is the younger brother of Yorgo the leader of the foundation. In any case it seems something is wrong with Nyx who complains about a sound. Also some strange stuff appears on his hand(s) in one scene before vanishing again. I guess this is foreshadowing for a later episode.

Edit: Also in the next episode Angelique wears glasses with a change in hairstyle. Yay!

In this episode Angelique and her two friends get into an uh discussion involving the Jinx. Angelique goes on a "date" with Roche and thus is in a cute disguise. We get to see that many there are familiar with Roche. They mainly talk about how the people in the town are effected by both the Thanatos and Jinx. So yeah this is a spend quality time with Roche episode, but still a pretty nice one all things considered. Also wow it's so nice of Roche to take pictures of Angelique like that. How did he did it is the mystery of course.

All right then let's see the Jinx is having a harder and harder time defeating the enemy. Which cause Rayne to argue with his brother Yogoro about it and Efren over hears. Which of course makes him unhappy and even more jealous than ever. Yay!

We get more with Nyx. Who seems to have trouble growing flowers. Also has a flashback to his problems early with the mysterious black stuff. He goes to a party with Angelique where some old man recognizes him as he's a friend of his grandfather . Apparently the Thanatos hate balls and Angelique in a pretty dress because one attacks.

The Thanatos is defeated, but the man is in pain. Nyx recognizes him as some guy named Auguste and we get some flashback scene of what looks like Nyx saying to Auguste that he'd return. We also get a scene of said person telling Nyx he came back. So either Nyx looks like grandpa or maybe....

Oh yes we also get Efren trying to deal with a group of Thanatos by himself. Things go wrong, but hey it's fun watch Jet recalculate the damage to the Jynx which angers Efren. The episode ends with him about to be attacked. Oh yes apparently according to Jet in the preview his master is the glasses of Efren. Yeah clearly more proof to not take the dialog in them seriously.

All right more talk about how the Jinx is ultimately a failure. Some fighting with the Thanatos. Nyx showing signs of problems. Oh and Jet decides he's tired of the harem stuff not moving forward so he kidnaps Angelique. :P Okay in all seriousness he does capture her probably for the purpose of whatever cranky and jealous Efren has planned.

Jet takes Angelique to Efren who wants to make use of her power in order to make things more effective. However her would be harem rescues thanks to her eventually casting "Stats Up" which seems to be the only way they can handle Jet. The episodes ends with a discussion about an elaborate plan to take care of the Thanatos once and for all. However it's risky and yes Angelique is told of things and knows the risks. Well one more episode to go and I'll soon see how the first season ends.

So the plan is to get the Thanatos to all gather in one area since they tend to go help their injured friends. Angelique will be providing purifying light on a grand scale. Interesting plan, but because it goes on for hours, she starts to fatigue. However don't worry she gets a second wind uh I mean light.

Eventually they the battle, but Nyx reminds me them and let's the audience know they still have to destroy Erebos who seems to be the source of the Thanatos in the first place. Possible last boss? Either way only the Queen can destroy him. Only question is how she'll eventually become the queen. Also will she get to boss around people?:P On a side Hyuuga finally calls Angelique just Angelique. Hey he said he'd obey any order from the Queen.

Apparently Nyx is tired of being a good guy. He decides to set the mansion on fire, reveal his new style make up, and summon his own set of Thanatos just for heck of it. Ah yes Nyx has a secret desire to be a final boss too. Who knew? Which upsets Angelique more? Nyx's betrayal or losing the mansion.

The episode ends with all of them falling, but suddenly a light hits the Erwin the pet cat and he seems to talk to Angelique. I guess the cat is perhaps more than just a cat then. Still what can our Heroine and her harem - 1 do now? Why of course summon the power of a second season called Second Age, which I guess I'll start watching soon enough.

All right it's six months later. Angelique and crew are still missing. Things are rather dreary. You get to see some focus on the supporting characters in the episode. Apparently Yogoro is on trial due to the problems that occured with the Thanatos. Efren wants the leader of Celestia Orginzation to help him. However he refuses to stating both that the Jinx is dangerous and that Yogoro must stand trial to see if he's innocent or guilty.

Then we have Mathias reveal he's a fake leader. Apparently he was meant to be a stand in until they found a real "heir". Which they eventually did. The one being Rene. After this flashback scene, we have Mathias deciding that it's time to let Rene take over. However he also decides not to leave the city completely. Seems like he likes the place and probably wants to help protect it.

Jet wonders why Efren does so much for Yogoro. Efren lashed out at him saying that Jet doesn't understand because he's an artifact. Jet "agrees" with this in a sense. Hmm I get the feeling they're might be a change in both of them over time. Perhaps Jet will grow to want to be 'defective' like J.D.

Ah no wonder there's been a six month time jump. Bernard and whoever else gets rescued by Rayne. They're lead to Angelique and find out she's been unconscious for six months. Yeah now I'm glad they did a time jump. Granted it's obvious she'll eventually wake up if the opening is any indication.

By the way she not only gets a rather nice new outfit. She's also apparently going to be fighting with a sword. Yeah that's right it looks like she's decided that she needs to expand her usefulness beyond just just light of death and light of power. In any case the second season is off to a decent start.

Angelique rises from the dead or okay wakes up. Happy times, although it seems due to the Thanatos being near the Hidamari Mansion, people are blaming Angel's group. Oh by the way Angel meets with Nyx, who wants to be killed before he causes her more suffering. This weird dream, but not a dream stuff leads to Angel getting his ponytail ribbon. Yes that Ribbon will guide you to kill Nyx to save him Angel. Or maybe not.
