Needs moar Konata, Tsukasa and Kagami, less Miyuki... otherwise, I have no problem.

This was one of my favorite R2 covers (DVD three, I believe). But the good news, for me, is it should be on the booklet.

Ah yes Swimsuits seems like a good choice for a cover.

Infinitely superior to the LE. MINE!

I really have to wonder why they are using the crayon covers at all, but well, that's their choice.

The RE covers are much better.

Swimsuits > Crayon Drawing

I'm glad BE is making it really easy for me to take the cheap route for this release.

They are? I'd much rather have the crayon-drawing than a cover that looks like so many other anime dvd covers (even with the cute girls, but if I want them, they're on the insert), but I don't want the shirt and have no feeling one way or the other about the CD. I won't be buying any more Lucky Star until I can find the LEs for extremely heavy discounts (even beyond RightStuf's studio sale discount).

Because some of us actually want them? Honestly given the level of hatred for them, I'm starting to imagine a scenario where a bunch of posters here decided to form an angry mob and swarm Crayola. All for the purpose of burning every crayon in existence.

LOL, and we will fight against them!!!! I love the crayon covers too!

Since the trans note booklets in the LE version include the RE cover, and they slip in very nicely over the crayon cover, it's not as big a deal for me as it was before. But still, they never should have released this without true reversible covers in the first place, especially given the astronomical MSRP. Only offering one cover was pretty ridiculous.

Only offering one cover was pretty ridiculous.

Yeah it was definitely a mistake either way. Those who want the LE cover are forced to pay more and those who prefer the RE cover have less incentive to go for the LE. At the very least they could have done reversible covers for the sake of either all 12 Crayon Covers or all 12 normal covers...

Crayon Miko Hiiragi Sisters must be protected.

Amen. I hated it when they did it for Haruhi, and I hate they are doing it for Lucky☆Star. Is a clear DVD case with a double-sided cover too much to ask when you're paying $36 for a DVD? They are twelve covers too, so we miss out on six regardlesss.

But for a counter argument, the Lucky ☆ Star R2 DVDs had some of the cheapest-looking packaging I have seen in a R2 release (6,600 yen). My experience with Kadokawa indicates they like to skimp on the packaging on both sides of the pacific (save for FMP:TSR). Same goes for Bandai Entertainment for that matter.

This is definitely the cover to get for Vol. #2... which I'll be doing alright.

Seriously. If you had only waited seven more days, Bandai, you could have released it on 07/07, which happens to be Tanabata and Tsukasa and Kagami's birthday. Instead, you ignored them! The shame.

Let's demand at least Bandai update the Lucky Star site around that time in such a way to celebrate.

Does the Regular Editions includes those booklets too?

Someone in a previous post did mention the booklet came with the RE of volume 1. If you mean the liner notes.
