To celebrate buying Cleopatra DC, I thought I'd start this topic to see what other women are boss of their outfit/gang/army. Nobody in charge of them. See how many there are in anime between us. Monarchy counts, but Maj. Kusanagi would not as Aramaki is her boss. So to start;

Actually, Seras works for the Hellsing Organization but she's not the boss. The real boss is Sir Integra Wingates Hellsing (Yes, she's a woman).

I'm not buying that one - while out on ops, she's the equivalent of shift leader, but that's like saying that the guy who runs graveyard shift at Kinko's is the store (or even department) manager.

I'm not knocking her by any stretch - she's a damn fine character with a lot of depth, but I wouldn't consider her the leader.
(In the manga where they seem to be independent salvage operators instead of part of the larger corporation, I'd take it - it's *HER* vessel.)

Although an amusing one would be Kotomi, the owner of the bathhouse in NieA_7...

Admiral Spoor disqualifies as she is only an admiral among many. But the Abh empress, now she qualifies.

I based it off the manga and the series. I get what you're saying in that she works for the higher ups at the company, thats a given. I named her just by the amount of respect she commands in that little section and even with people like Dolf who is pretty high up. Maybe my view is skewed by the fact that they pretty make the "Debris Section" its own little area for most of the series.
