I just want my Cromartie! I think my primary reason for going to AX is to find a copy of volume 13. I'll even take it used! Assuming it ever gets back into print, then it's four more volumes left, too..

How about rolling Gunslinger Girl and Yotsuba out? That would be great! I strongly doubt it though...

ANN (http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/convention/2008/anime-expo/adv-films) just has this:
As for their manga department, Greenfield confessed that he didn't know what was happening there, but said that there wouldn't be any new acquisitions in the next year. They're still eager to continue the series that have already been started, meaning their remaining ongoing titles, like Yotsuba&!

Yes, and we're all very "eager" to have Yotsuba&! 6 in-hand. But eagerness is pointless if that's all there is.

What continues to strike me funny is how, at every con over the last couple of years, this is all ADV has had to say -- the point being: if they know people are curious, why not ask the person in charge of ADV manga for information? More than "frustrating" for the fans, it's unprofessional of ADV to have a division and know nothing about it. How hard is it to check up on your own staff? Not very. Unless there's no actual staff working on actual product, hey?

They're eager to continue Yotsuba&!. And I'm eager to buy the new volumes.
This should be a match made in heaven.
But there seems to be a step missing…

You can say that again. The manga's been such a fun read.
