I have a wallpaper up, but no link to it right now. Also it isn't anime at all anyway. On a side note with a new wide screen monitor it kind of changes the way I recrop images for quick wallpapers. It also means many of those 1280x1024 walls are kind of useless now.

Aria is one reason I want a bigger screen, along with Blu Ray & DVD re-masters. Seeing anime & real women bigger makes the cost easier to justify. :cool:

My problem is finding a wallpaper that is a large enough resolution and right aspect ratio to fit spanning across two 1680x1050 monitors with minimal warping/cropping. It also needs to be relatively dark (I don't like bright wallpapers since my lights are always off) and the composition of the image needs to be such that the 'split' between the two monitors doesn't wind up chopping someone's face in half or looking otherwise awkward.

There just ain't a lot that fits that description, so I switch rarely.

For someone like me, who only recently upgraded to Widescreen that just feels like overkill. Then again I'm sure someone here is probably using four monitors or more.

Well it is a bit bright, but I use this Lucky Star (http://personal.stevens.edu/%7Ejyao/7453x2432_146974.jpg) wallpaper, which is 7453x2432. I use DisplayFusion Pro to display the wallpaper without having to crop manually. It spans my laptop (1680x1050) and a LCD monitor (1280x1024). When I disconnect my laptop from the monitor, the wallpaper is set to keep it on Konata and Kagami.

I seems to work on a 1280x1024 centered. I haven't tried it on either size widescreen 1680x1050 or 1920x1080


I do like to place some of my older 1280x1024 wallpapers centered on my 1680x1050 monitors you get a nice border effect . . . if you pick the right background color.

I do the same thing and I'll even just take a pic and center it, but, like you said, you need to pick the right background color. The background pic I'm using now I found of Hatsune Miku from Caffein's (http://caffeinism.xxxxxxxx.jp/index.htm) site.
