Question regarding R2J Evangelion Movie Collection (KIBA-1009)

I know that the DTS Collector's Edition (KIBA-1209) of the Evangelion movies are 16:9 anamorphic, but I was wondering if the original release (KIBA-1009) with just the Dolby audio was anamorphic as well, and if so, are there any picture differences between the two releases? Also, if anyone out there has a scan of the back of the KIBA-1009 cover showing the DVD's specs, that would be greatly apprecaited...

Since both are Renewal, I'd say the only difference is added DTS soundtrack. For the small extra price I'd get the DTS.

The 1st 2 are interchangeable for which is best. Depends on scene. 3rd is less good, 4th is noticably worst.

However remember that the Renewal versions (R2J) are re-mastered, while the R4 is from the LD master, like the very first R2J EoE. R3K I'm not sure.

Thanks for the data. I'll probably get the KIBA-1009 (Dolby) version since I'm not a big audiophile and I can put the additional 20-25 bucks elsewhere...
