I just ran into this link at Toon Zone

Sci Fi is renewing its “Ani-Mondays” block with three U.S. premieres added to the slate: toon series “Gundam 00,” “Gurren Lagann” and “Strait Jacket.”

The shows come from Starz Media’s anime distrib arm, Manga Entertainment, which has just inked deals with Bandai and financially embattled Central Park Media, which provides reruns of “Black Jack” and “MD Geist.”

That is the first official news item I've seen on what's going on with the CPM titles that are going to Ani Monday. I had been wondering what was up with that.

Starz needs to make a deal with ADV. I'm sure ADV needs the money now, and I would like to see more of their shows on TV.

It's good to hear that Anime has found another place to stick to TV wise. I can remember checking anime out on Sci Fi way back when(Galaxy Express 999).

It's nice that Sci-fi, grabbing more High prrofile anime, can open a new alternative to CN/AS.

Couldn't agree more - especially with CN/AS' decisions to slot high profile anime shows like Death Note and Code Geass so late at night. My personal fave is IFC. Being able to watch Witchblade and Speed Grapher without commercial interruption on what is essentially a basic cable channel is pretty darn good.
