Would an anime adaption of the "Lone Wold & Cub" manga make good anime, or would "Lone Wolf 2000" be better?

I haven't read LW2k, but I'd love to see an animated Lone Wolf and Cub. :)

The've got to do a "Lone Wolf and Cub" anime someday. How about getting the anime studio behind "Basilisk" to do it? That way, the blood won't get watered down.
