Since I'm not too big of a fan of Go Nagai's work, I don't get to see impressive sideburns as much as I would like to when watching anime. The last really memorable set of sideburns I can remember is those belonging to Commander Amarao of FLCL, but even those are just an accessory to his eyebrows.

Is there anything else I can watch to get my sideburns-fix? Or do I have to rely on Lupin III and Go Nagai?

Gouda Jouji from Akane Maniax has a rather impressive pair.

Dr. Kabapu from Excel Saga has some impressive sideburns, but just like Amarao, they're more of an accessory, this time, to a mustache.

Obviously I don't have to mention Lupin, since you did and it's the first show most think of when they think "sideburns".

I was looking at the covers of some of the discs I have, and I had far fewer Sideburn-characters than I thought.
Hideki from Nerima Daikon Brothers has some nice sideburns, but that may not be your type of show.
Jet Black from Cowboy Bebop probably doesn't count since his turn into a beard.
Of course Dr. Kabapu from Excel Saga was already mentioned above and you pointed out FLCL's Amarao.

That's all I got for real sideburns. I guess most Japanese artists don't like sideburns much (shame).

Some of Shadow Skill's characters, including Elle Ragu, have variable sideburns depending on the series (OVA, TV, CG).

Franky in One Piece has some serious sideburns. He even uses them as a weapon.
