Anime where the OP or ED has character designs by a different person

In High School Girls and Ikkitousen: Great Guardians, the ED is done by Yasuomi Uematsu (the same person behind Kite) which results in the characters looking significantly different. What other anime has the OP and/or ED character designs done by different people?

The first example that came to mind was Project A-ko 3: Cinderella Rhapsody. The OP and ED were done by (surprise) Yasuomi Umetsu. A-ko, B-ko, and C-ko were all drawn in Umetsu's distinctive, hyper-detailed style. It's too bad that Umetsu's ending animation doesn't appear on the R1 DVD (the OP is there, though).

The ED to Gigantic Formula is done using the original Kadonosono Megumi designs, and looks so much better than the in-episode designs. Not that I ever got too far in that show.

I'm not sure who did the designs of the characters in the OP but Narutaru's character designs in the OP look radically different from the actual series.

Ikkitousen Dragon Destiny ED by Urushihara Satoshi was the first that came to mind (though mainly because you mentioned Great Guardians admitted ^_^")

Another one being Imaishi Hiroyuki's work on the ED animation for Paradise Kiss

Gigantic Formula would definitely have been better with the original designs vs. what they used in the actual episodes- but even in spite of that I rather enjoyed the show (once it was all finally subbed, which took forever).

Peach Girl used the anime versions of the characters for the opening, but the original manga designs for the ending.

Personally, I preferred the anime versions - but I never read the manga.

First thing that came to mind. I liked the show, but the original character designer bailed after the first episode leaving Gotoh to try to right the ship.

I was talking about Genshiken. Genshiken needs nipples, darnit!

Well, there actually were some nipples... of a character in screenshots from an in-universe hentai game played by the Genshiken characters. Um, yay.

And a Saki ass shot as well (and maybe more, I haven't actually gotten around to finishing the series yet), which is more than the manga ever gave us.
