You know what I'm talking about. You'll be watching a show and they'll introduce a totally awesome character, and then hardly use them. It's like they realized they created a character so filled with win, it upstages the dull-as-dish-water main characters so they have to limit his or her screen time. Characters so good you wish they'd made the show about them instead. Who are some of the characters you wish had more screen time?

Kyouran Kazoku Nikki needs more of every damn awesome one[or 2-3]-off character they've introduced! There is far, far more awesome crammed into that cast than even ~25 episodes can contain. Eeeeeeeepic.

Wagaya no Oinari-sama needs more Misaki and Mubyou! Especially Mubyou. I like her and Misaki about the same, but Mubyou gets even less screentime which is BIG HUGE SAD.

Kanokon needed more Akane and the binbou twins, because they're so much better than Kouta and Chizuru.

Ummm, these are three very random examples that came to mind immediately, I could name dozens if I had the time. But I should really, realllllly get some sleep right now.

D.C.II: needs more Otome Seriously WTF. You take the most most popular character from the game and barely give her any screentime? Although D.C.II.S.S. did make up for it.
FutaKoi: Sara and Soujo. Granted, Futakoi Alternative did make up for it.
Maburaho: more Yamase Chihaya. I found her more interesting than any of the main three girls.
Midori no Hibi: Ayase Takako. Enough said.
Yoake Mae Yori Ruri Iro Na -Crescent Love-: Asagiri Mai. She barely got any attention.
Zero no Tsukaima: Jessica. Anime original, but pure awesomeness.

I have to have some others, but I just can't think of them at the moment.

Right now Amamiya Shiina of Nogizaka Haruka's Secret comes to mind for me. It's not that Nogizaka Haruka isn't awesome. She and her sister Nogizaka Mika are both awesome. However it's just that Amamiya Shiina got less screen time than I expected her to and while I liked the Nogizaka sisters better, I still think she could have had more screen time.

There are others besides that from various series, but I'm drawing a blank and/or unable to concentrate enough to mention them. This mainly comes up because I'm currently of the mission to finish Nogizaka Haruka's Secret. Oh yeah I'm not sure if this counts, but in Shugo Chara, Amu needs to use forms besides Amulet Heart more often.

As much as I liked Tenma, so MANY of the side cast I felt were better than her and other lead characters not named Eri, Yakumo and Harima from School Rumble. Take your pick from Itoko, Sarah and Ichijou.

Strawberry Panic. Chikaru. Discussion end of. By far the best character in that series (and she's someone even more awesome in the novels) that she was relegated to comic moments and creating her yuri harem to take off the ANGST that the much less interesting Shizuma and Amane brought. Make her Etoile dammit!

Needs more Ringo from Angelic Layer. Misaki however is awesome so she's not a lead that Ringo should overshadow - she's a lead that needs to duet with her. :P

Ah so that's their names. It was easier to remember Hinagiku, Miki, Izumi, and Risa by default.

Thankfully in the second series there are sure to be storylines based on Hinagiku and Ayumu getting to know each other.

Hopefully, but then again the first series more or less went from progressing the plot to becoming episodic at a certain point. Which has its pros and cons. So it's hard to say what if anything season 2 will do for real.

I want more of the Student Council Sextet (i.e. all of them). Actually, I don't really care about Risa (one way or the other; she's just there), but she's part of the group, so I have to include her.

Ringo is only my third favorite character in the series, but I definitely would have liked to see more Ringo. In particular, we needed more of Ringo and Tamayo together. They both have such energetic personalities and the combination of the two bouncing off each other should have been epic entertainment had the series done anything with it. As it stands, they rarely meet and don't even interact with each other much when they do
