Well, TRSI doesn't do any pages for merchandise until they are sure they have information that can support it. Maybe Viz hasn't actually sent them an actual solicitation with it.

Cool Cover, but sense the DVD releases is my first run, I don't know who these people are. I do see them in the opening, so they must appear towards the end of the anime I guess? Interesting.

Viz doesn't disapoint with these covers. Box Set looks sexy as well. Will they treat Monster as nice as they treat Death Note? We can hope!

The artwork is the same as the R2J covers. I think it will be fairly hard to mess up these covers. As for Monster, it remains to be seen if it will actually be released in a timely manner.

I hope they go the 13 episode box sets for monster as it is about 74 episodes. I do not think it would do well as singles, but with Viz you never know...

I'm hoping for about 20 episodes per set. But I'm not going to far ahead on this. Nothing is for certain until it's solicited. Hoping some news will turn up for the month of April.

That would rock. The thing about monster is it really is not show that works too well watching an episode at a time. You really gotta sit and watch large chunks of it.

That really depends on the person... Some like shows like Monster to be one episode at a time to think about everything and come up with their own theory, much like Death Note. Some will want to marathon it. I take each show on a case by case basis...

That is why the box set format is ideal, it caters to both needs especially with Monster where it can be wathced both ways.

Yes I know this already. That does not mean they shouldn't be applauded for acually useing the R2's, when they are really nice. They could have made thier own covers, and theyd din't and decided to use these nice babies. I agree it would have been hard to mess these up though.

As for Monster I'm all for 12ish, 20ish, or 26ish episode Box Sets. That would be an amazing way to release that series. Not sure If I could buy all the singles, sense Eureka Seven (another lots of episode series I like) was a lot for me to handle, and this has more episodes, but also not sure I could wait for the box sets to come out for this, if singles are done first. I would probally start buying the singles lol! No self control when it comes to waiting for box sets. It would suck if they went singles for Monster. Come on box sets!

But more importantly get this acually for sale, and hopefully on TV!I don't want them to sit on this as well, like they did/are doing with a few other series they have that seem interesting as well.
