Anime characters with the ugliest hair styles

I watched an episode of My-HiME just to check it out. There were some seriously bad haircuts throughout the show.

Mikoto has nappy, short brown hair with long dreadlocks for sideburns...damn that's ugly!

Yukino (the girl with glasses) has shortish light brown hair. Way too much of her forehead shows, and she's got a sort of a Ace Ventura thing going on in the front and an Inspector Gadget thing going on in the back.

Haruka has light yellow hair and really short bangs that just look dumb.

Shiho has long red hair where each lock of hair looks like a stuffed sock.

Natsuki on the other hand is hot and I love her haircut.

What animes have you seen, or what particular characters, have really dumb hair styles?

I acually love all the different hair styles in Red Garden. Then again I really like the character designs too.

Miu Nomura from Piano has hair that really bothers me. It's so anoying looking. Her mother Hitomi also had hair that bothered me.

S-CRY-ED had some ulgy hair styles/designs if I remember correctly.

Revolutionary Girl Utena has some funky hair styles. Nothing I dislikes, but a lot of people say all the charcters have ugly hair. Not a fan of pink hair on guys, but it didn't look stupid or horrible.

Not really ugly, but kind of funny. Anyone ever watch the Triangle Heart OVA (not licensed, by the way)? I remember one scene in the last episode where all the characters were gathered around a sofa, facing the audience. They all seemed to have the same hair style. Maybe I'll get a screenshot sometime...

Pretty much just take Nanoha's (from Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha) hair style (without the pigtails) and multiply it by eight or something.

Jeez, someone already took Miu from Piano's strange triangular haircut. That's been bugging me lately.

Overall, I've never been a fan of the swirls that were popular a couple decades ago. I always found them intrusive.

You mean Brock from Pokemon? Yeah, I've never really liked that spiky haircut, and it's so ubiquitous in anime. There's a guy in My HiME with that same damn haircut, and the oranged-haired guy in Bleach. It's basically in every show. It just looks way to stylized for my taste, nothing like real hair. I know an anime fan complaining about something looking too stylized might seem silly, but I'm an old school fan and the old hair styles (even the Rick Hunter lookalikes) weren't quite so simplified.

Whoa! I just looked up some pics and you're right, Junta's hair is bad! I've seen some of DNA2, but I forgot just how bad that hair was. I was thinking of another character by the same designer...maybe it was the guy from Video Girl Ai.

But still, I'm sick of the generic spiky hair look used on many male anime characters. It reminds me of the whole oompa-loompa/Guido fad (http://www.goobertech.net/node/1871) that's so popular amonst New Jersey area douche-bags.

Like with s-CRY-ed, I don't think I ever thought twice about the hairstyles because that show is so full of futuristic technology and crazy materialization fighting. (Same goes for My-Hime.) But with Piano, we get this very realistic slice-of-life series that makes Miu's bizarre hairstyle stand out all the more.
