Geneon's release of the Familiar of Zero is just about formally out and we got in the box set a little early. With this show having not been released at all by Geneon Entertainment before...

This is useful information. One quick question though. Are the covers double-sided or single-sided?

(they used the Kirche cover rather than Siesta or Henrietta ones--blasphemy).

The release uses a decent weight chipboard box to hold three standard keepcases in it so it takes up a nice bit of space and looks pretty good.

I wonder if this represents a rethinking by Geneon of how they want to present their titles, or if they had already printed the physical material for this release prior to the shutdown?

This does set the expectation that the follow-up seasons, if licensed, will be treated in the same fashion.

I hope they keep it consistent. This definitely looks good... great job Geneon.

Ah, now that definitely looks rather nice over all. Not much for me to say beyond that right now.

So its a chipboard box with regular sized DVD cases? Excellent, this is more awesome than I'd hoped for. I was expecting something similar to what Ouran and School Rumble S2 got (neither of which are terrible, just far less than ideal). I expect we will similar treatment for Nanoha.
