With my Aria the Origination volume #7, that concludes collecting all 3 series (OVA is Origination #0 to me). Seems weird no more new Aria to pre-order.

Although Nozomi is releasing all Aria, has anyone else continued buying the R2s to the end?

I've got from Natural on, I missed out on the first press for the first season and still need to acquire it by some means.

Of course, if you're that starved, you could always buy the new collection set of the first season coming out. Or the new artbook Kozue Amano has coming out in Dec.

If you buy the R3TW release, you get boxes & postcards. Boxes are not the same as R2, but are sturdy & cheap.

Thanks for the artbook info, I'll check that out. :)

I have all of the discs from Animation to Origination, but I have gaps in boxes, but I cannot afford to track down any of the missing bits, and won't bother.

Artbook, ooh nice.

The new set, I've seen that, and it has an exclusive new box, but frankly, $180 for a box? I may be crazy, but I don't think I'm that crazy :sd:

CD Japan is claiming it has new footage. They don't say of WHAT though.

I'm not sure what they mean either. Since it's on 5 discs instead of 6, I don't see how they're actually going to increase the amount of stuff.

My feeling is that the new "footage" might be more behind the scenes stuff, maybe some more interviews or looks behind the scenes at Hal Filmmaker. If there actually were new animation, even if it were largely junk animation, I would be tempted. But still, it's a lot of money. Money I just don't have anymore.

Great Bear, the R3TW Aria discs have the episodes, on-disc extras as the R2Js & are much cheaper if you want to fill in the gaps of your sets. http://mall.jsdvd.com/advanced_search_result.php?inc_subcat=1&keywords=Aria%20the%20animation&language=us

Thanks, but the gaps I have are first press items, not individual volumes. I have all of the discs.
